Write a ReviewI love my Town Car just as much as I love my Berkline recliner -- as in, t-r-u-e love. It is the perfect "road" car. Quiet, comfortable and relatively economical (ask your Lexus friends if their cars use "regular"). Does it handle like a sports car? Immaterial -- it's not intended to! Is it 5-star crash rated all-around -- Yes! Will it hold a relative boatload of luggage -- yes! Is it strongly favored by older people and chauffeurs who want reliability and comfort for their passengers? Yes! Is there a clue there, relative to safety, comfort and long vehicle life? You bet. Did your grandpa ever give you bad advice? Town Cars are soon to be difficult to find, except for fleet sales -- buy one while you can....read morehide

I'm really glad with this Lincoln full optioned I bought brand new in 2004. With a mileage of 100.000 and not the slightest problem ! This car gives me the security, the confort, is powerful in case of need ( excellent torque ) has a good fuel economy, and is ( in my opinion at least ) a very good looking big american car. She is a luxury car but his everyday use is far less expansive than a BMW or a Mercedes, the Lincoln is also more reliable. Some of my friends did have very bad and costly experiences with those two european makes and none of them offers a confort as the Lincoln Town Car....read morehide

I love my Town Car Designer. My wife owns an MKX and we love it, too, but the Town Car is hands-down winner for our road trips. It is quiet, incredibly comfortable and surprisingly (to non Town-Car people) fuel-efficient, on regular gas. I've rented TCs for long trips for the past 15 years. The all got between 23 and 28 MGP on the road and 18-20 in town. Once I drove from Charleston to Orlando on a single (19 gal.) tank of gas. The car is lighter than it looks (compare the stats with others); that, together with an aerodynamic shape and a time-tested engine and transmission, are what cause such relatively great fuel economy. The trunk is very large; the THX sound system is outstanding; outside visibility is very good. This is the only way to travel, folks. I've tried 'em all. I value comfort first, safety second and fuel economy third. The Town Car scores "A" in all three....read morehide

I rented this vehicle when I went to LA (working in Kuwait) and the vehicle was beautiful and precise. The ride was very smooth and the room is quite nice. After I rented the vehicle I told my wife, "we have to look into one of these when we get home"; from supporting the US Army in Kuwait. Can't wait to pick one out and don't wanna buy one brand new, wanna buy one with about 10K-15K just so I dont lose value pulling outta of the dealers lot....read morehide

The interior of my towncar is way above average, only
one complaint the passenger floor mat should be designed like the drivers side. This car beats any other American made product of like quality

The Best safety Rating in the industry (front and side ). Reasonable maitaince costs with wide avalibility of parts. Some R&D and updating is a better bet than dressing up a fwd ford as a "replacement" for the real deal TOWN CAR. To bad ford has waisted it's funds on the black holes of Jaguar and Volvo with nothing but losses and declining sales to show for it, while neglecting the profitable products that produced the revenue ! Now "they" want to introduce a fwd sputter box and they think you will buy it . Not a decision pattern for success by any means. This is the very thinking that has resulted in the very deep finacial do-do that threatens the the companies exsistance today.Ford makes some of the planets' BEST V8 / rear wheel drive vehicles period.(F series,Mustang,Town Car,ect.) Improve on, and expand on what you do best. The fist step is continued production and improvment of the company hallmark--The TOWN CAR. It is time for ford to recognize the value, reputation, and flag ship presance this car carries for ford and America....read morehide

I always wanted a Tank. 18 1/2 ft long, 4500 pounds, Bullet proof (BPS).
Only get BPS if you need it. I live in Philly, and lots of bad things happen here everyday.

Hey, you don't get a Town Car because you want all the newest gimmicks or the latest technology. You get a Town Car, because you want comfort, quiet and a boulevard cruiser not some micro toy car.
This car is extremely reliable, does not have any real mechanical faults and will be dependable, safe and cheap to run for years and years.
If you want all the latest high tech stuff, look elsewhere, but if you want a good car at a good price look at a Town Car....read morehide
