Slippery Shape, Lots of Technical Gadgetry, Should get good Safety Awards for standard safety items

Looks less expensive than the previous model, tire noise on some road surfaces

I've got the previous model which is a fabulous car, with superb looks and poise from all angles. The interior looks more expensive on the older model, especially when you look at the steering wheel etc.
From the rear this new CL550/600 looks like an Acura CL 2.2 Coupe which you would'nt expect from a car costing this amount, but from the front it looks very feline yet powerful. The built-in navigation aid was a superb piece of standard kit on the previous model and no doubt the new model will surpass this with ease and with the help of all the other electronic aids, such as the bluetooth, command center, stereo, heated/cooled/massage seats will really make this car a pleasure to be in, whether popping to the store or long jouneys. Pure performance with the added security of actually being able to stop in an instant gives you the confidence you need for a grand touring sports coupe. Add all that with the double glazing like my CL and you could be touring down the highway at 150 mph without knowing it. Think I'll still keep my CL500 but the choice is yours...read morehide

New rear view mirrors are smaller look better but harder to see traffic

It took me some time to get used to the new look. Now that I have driven it for a couple of months it has grown on me. I still haven't sold my 06 CL but I am looking in to it now. One thing that surprised me is that it is much larger then old model when parked side by side. I am driving it more often now then my Bentley GT....read morehide

Great ride , safe , confort , style , all the bells & whisles , big & roomy inside, quite no outside noise

slightly roomier than the old ones. rides and handles a bit better. can fit four adults at last!

still difficult to get into and out of the rear seats.

CL 63 or 65 would be awesome and watch out, Bentley GT...if MBZ could keep the price reasonable..
