The E550 for '07 is a thing if beauty, but one can learn to hate it as well. The thick leather and wood inside smell and feel good and the red dash lights are soothing at night, but the trips to the dealer for repairs are unbearable. The all new 7 speed transmission can't handle the power of the new V8 and the torque converter has been malfunctioning for many E550 owners, mine included. The drivetrain shudders under accelaration at low rpms. Additionally, the automatic levelling suspension goes up and down at random times while driving and when the car is turned off. After 3 Benzes, 8 BMWs and 4 Lexuses, I will not get German cars again, I've had pain in the neck problems with every single one. Lexus dealers, here I come again!
