Where do I begin?

What a turkey! Bought the M Class brand new and had it back to the dealer 4 times in the first year. Climate control fan wouldn't shut off, driver's door opened w/o touching it, master cylinder leaked, belt tensioner had to be replaced. We kept it long enough to trade it in on a Lexus ES 350 which is flawless. If you'r thinking of an M Class...you'll be on a first name basis with your service advisor. I would never buy a different car than mercedes benz ml 320, 430, 500, and 63

this car is great for all. It is like it grabs you on curbs, sport suspension makes me speed, besides the traffic. I don't think theirs a better gripping. Mercedes has the right to be called Mercedes

My oh My am I happy with this car! Drives great looks great & I have never had any major issues with it. Even the small issues I had were totally covered by the B2B warranty & they tossed in a rental car! What's not to like?

Started with needing brakes at 17K which dealer said was typical then after 24 K this SUV started..

having one after another mechanical problem. Very disappointed in the quality of this MB given the cost of this vehicle. Finally was so fed up, we traded it in for a FourRunner - first time Toyota owners - NOT ONE PROBLEM! Wow - much better SUV for 1/2 the price?

have the car for about 6mos now. over 7000miles. love it. i see lot of 350s and 500s in the neighborhood but never ran into a 320CDI. i quite like the ride, never had issues with the diesel engine and kids love the fact that these new diesel engines are env friendly. good car

I have been a Mercedes owner and driver since 1991. This was my third ML

I traded my ML 320 2001 for a New ML 500 fully loaded V8 engine
you name it I had it. Within a few months I began having problems with the ML lurching, accelerating both were very scary. The back gate
opened on it's own. I also received two recall notices after I traded the car in because it scared me, for a newer (one year older) ML350
I had hoped Mercedes would have worked out the kinks as interestingly I tried to buy a different car (make) after having spent
$70.000 on the ML 500 no dealer wanted my car and the depreciation
was incredible. I wound up back at the Mercedes dealership and stillspent over $ 11,000 on the trade. Over a month ago I began having problems with the computer telling me to check tire pressure
This happened after I left the dealership from my first service
The service manager told me the pressure was off, the salesperson I dealt with fixed the settings on the computer and I left. Three days later the computer came up witrh the same warning again I kept having the pressure checked and nothing wrong kept calling the dealership telling them what was happening they could not fiqure it out
To make a long story short after a month of this I had an appointment
for service . The night before I was drivng home, the car lurched I had no brakes, no steering,the car veered to the right and wrapped itself around a telepone pole. I watched in horror thinking I was going to die
To my amazement the car caused the problem but although I was seriouly injured and the car was totaled I was alive.
I lost a lot in the depreciation and will never buy a Mercedes again even tho I love them THIS CAR NEEDS TO BE RECALLED AND CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE. The next time someone may die. Is that what it would take? Kathryn from New Jersey 8/21/07...read morehide

I did a tremendous amount of research before I bought this car. Problem was, the Acura MDX won the most awards, and offered the biggest bang for the buck (as well as the 3rd row), but when I drove it didn't feel as substantial as the Benz. I was totally "in love" with the Cayanne. Problem with that, was that the gas milage was poor, the insurance was more, and every option you wanted, you had to pay up the wazoo. Made no sense at all. Nice car though.

What can I tell you all... I got "the feeling" behind this car. So far, I've been very happy. It drives wonderful, and the interior is very luxurious. If you get this car, the sports package is a must. It's not that expensive, and makes a big difference in the car. The only thing I can tell you to watch out for is the Bluetooth issue. When I bought the car, they told me the car was "wired for bluetooth". This may be so, but in order to use it, you have to buy a $500 cradle that sits in the center console in order for the wiring to pay off. I think this is a "nickel and dime" approach by Mercedes....read morehide
