Write a ReviewI have had my car for two and a half years and I love it, but the pump has went out in the roof once already and the roof squeks alot. I keep the car maintained on a regular basis. It only has 27,000 miles. I just worry about the roof going out again after my warrenty is out.

Got 2007 SLK280 with AMG sport and appearance packages (actually the car is loaded with every option and is a factory order special interior and color combo that happened to be in showroom when we arrived). Car is exceptional in every way - wife tells me she constantly gets comments about its appearance and one of her coworkers got a used SLK32 after seeing hers. Car handles extremely well - was able to hold off Lotus Elise in the twisties on Highway 1 north of San Francisco and pretty much exceeds our own driving limits. The car is an absolute blast to drive and with top up you really do not know you are in a convertible, it's that well engineered and quiet. Had chance to drive SLK350 prior to our purchase and I can say there does not seem to be too much difference in real world power. Would buy this car again....read morehide

This ia a fun car with great looks, performance and luxury features. Do get the Air Scarf it really works for year round top down driving! The automatic is terrific and the exhaust note is entertaining. Surprising amount of leg room since I am almost 6 ft tall but seats could use better lumber support. Trunk is big enough for a long weekend away for two. With the optional sport suspension it is very firm but you get used to it and the handling of course is great. Given what the SL costs, this is a relative bargain. The Command system/navigation takes a bit of learning but once you are used to it is fine....read morehide

First time I drove an SLK was in 2000. I love the car. Then a couple years later I bought one. It has been great. I have spent very little on maintains. In last four years I had it once for an extensiveness tone up. The second time was a couple days ago. Yes it is expensive to maintain a Benz but it does happen that often. Then one year ago I bought 280SLK 2006. It is fast allegiant and great performance. Besides the every 12,000 mile oil change I have take into to dealer for deforest reset. It gives me around 32 MPG on the highway and around 222 in the city. A great car I love it...read morehide

I took my car to Mouros Motors, Mercedes Benz of North Haven, CT for required under 3,000 miles service. They performed the service and since they liked my car so much they put on 9 miles. They claimed that it was for road testing. I called other Mercedes Benz dealers and they said that road testing is not needed. When I complained to Mercedes Benz customer service they didn't do anything. BEFORE YOU GO TO SERVICE YOUR CAR IN NORTH HAVEN, CT THINK TWICE.

Have had for 4 months, great "toy" could be daily driver but long hauls tiring. AMG a bit pricey compared to competition. Hard top convertible great. Set in Sport mode shifting hard, in Comfort much better for around town. Love the neck scarf, could have cool fan in seats. Love it

The SLK350 is meant to be a head-turner and it fully succeeds in this regard. The youngin's seem to always want to try and race you. The sedate crowd certainly give you a double-take.
Great nose design. A better deal than the SL class. Power is not an issue. MB is a proven company and the have certainly stepped up with the newer SLK design.
The only problem is that the seats lack what would be expected especially from a roadster ... comfortable seats.
On a lesser note, you do need to read the manual because there's a slew of button and gadgets....read morehide

Do not give this car to your teenageers.
Accidental push of the paddle will kill.

This car draws a lot of looks. It isnt nearly as fast as my old Corvette but the convertible top makes up for that. The automatic transmission needs work. I couldnt find a 6 speed anywhere in the state.
