I love my Mini Cooper! It is so much fun to drive! It is so much fun to just walk into my garage and look at it!
This car has more space then it would seem, and I always have my briefcase and golf clubs in there.

I'm a car nut but my wife who is not fell in love with Minis from day one. . It's our road trip car. We travel light and set out for trips a week at a time. Whether we cruise the expressways at 80? or snake the back roads, we never fail to have a blast and yet we never fail to get mid 30's for mileage. 25000 miles without a hitch. Sure the ride is a little stiff and the back seat is useless but the Mini is rated as a sports car and not some kind of mini compact. Steerng Wheel n my 2005 Mini Cooper seemed with time to low.

I bought a 2005 Mini Cooper in the beautiful city of San Francisco and have been in love with it ever since.

I have since moved to Virginia where I'm in the process of trading in my 2005 Mini Cooper for a 2008 Mini Cooper which should arriving sometime towards the end of March.

My overall experience has been spectacular with my Mini Cooper and truthfully their is rarely a day someone has not commented about how sharp my Mini Cooper looks.

Other drivers of other Mini's wave as they drive by as do I which to me displays the love and affection one has for a Mini Cooper.

My dream is to eventually own a Mini Cooper S Convertable when my finances allow me. Keep up the good work at Mini and thank-you for creating such a great car that I feel safe in, has great gas mileage and in many ways makes me feel I'm contributing towards in helping save the environment with fuel emmisions.

Great things comes in small packages and can hardly wait at the end of March to pick -up my new 2008 Mini Cooper in Richmond Virginia the staff all around at Mini has been wonderful.

Rough choppy ride, backseat, seats

Fun little car. I love the ease of getting around town, parking, fuel economy. Also fun to drive around town, cornering is a blast. The engine although no powerhouse is adequate around town and makes it fuel efficient. The downside is this is not a comfortable car for long trips, the short wheelbase makes the ride choppy and at high speeds the car tends to want to wander on expressways which can be a little scary. The backseat is worthless for passengers but allows nice room with the seats folded down as the Mini is essential a 2+2 sports car. The seats do seem cheap, even though I have the leather they are not very comfortable on long drives. All that said the Mini is a blast to drive in town but just not for me on long trips as I prefer a bigger car with more power for cruising....read morehide

My husband thinks the Mini has a loud engine, but it is a sports car! I love it!

My Mini Cooper accomodates my six foot, four inch tall husband with ease! He can drive the Mini and has plenty of room, and he can also be a passenger fine too. He says he even has to move the seat up a little because the makers of Mini Cooper have provided more footroom than he actually needs! This car handles like a dream come true. I can take corners fast without any problems (should I need to). The stickshift is the way to go (manual transmission). If you are not going to get a manual transmission Mini Cooper, then do yourself a favor and don't get one at all. Without the power and control of a shickshift, I feel this car would not be nearly as awesome....read morehide

Less time at home as I always out driving

What a car! I've only had the mini one week and our family have already fallen in love with it. We have two kids and they both love it and find the back quite comfortable. We didn't opt for the "S" and whilst more power would always be nice, the new engine does a more than adequate job.
Whilst I would love one as well (the wife claims this one) you definately need a larger car if you have kids. Two school bags are about the limit for the back....read morehide

I loved this car. It was fun to drive, performed well and got great gas mileage. However, after 4000 miles and a new (2nd) transmission, the clutch failed on the freeway. I'm very disapointed in the quality of these vehicles.

Who needs a hybrid !! This car has brought back the enjoyment of driving to me, and I can thumb my nose at most every gas station I go cruising by. The car has great safety features, is comfortable for it's mini size, (I'm 6'3") and is a blast to drive. I opted for the base model manual and drive it like a hyper-miler. It can and does get out of it's own way with the 118 hp engine. No big deal for me to have aggressive turbo acceleration as in the "S" model. I don't race anyone thank you very much. And don't kid yourselves, the gas crunch ? You ain't seen nothin yet. Get a base mini and get your money's worth. Keep it lean too, as the car offers a gazillion options you really have no use for except for aesthetics....read morehide
