All the bells and whistles for an affordable price. I love the Bluetooth phone, XM radio, etc.

I don't get the chance to drive it as much as I would like...I look forward to the drive each time.

This car is much more sportier than I thought it would be. It is a family car and a sports car all-in-one...of course I would rather use it as a sporty car with my wife than a family car with my family. I am very, very happy with this car, and I got a heck of a great deal from the dealer so he could make room for the 2008's. My husband won't give it back. He purchased the 2007 V6 Accord. Nice car, but it is NOT a Maxima.

I have had this car for a month now...I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!
My husband bought a 2007 V6 Honda Accord very nice car as well a month prior to my purchase of the Maxima. I have let him drive my Maxima...guess what he finds it very difficult to give it back to me.
The seat are the most comfortable I have ever had. The new headlights are great you can see for miles. And I love the dimmers on the side and rear view mirrors. Did I mention how much I LOVE this car, when I get to drive it. So far 23 mpg. Pretty good I think....read morehide

I bought the Maxima SE in Oct 2007. This car got powerful engine, good handeling, very comfortable inside whatever you driving or sitting. good looking and good balance when i turn on higher mileage (over 60 mile). this SE is very good performance and luxury car.
I had Acura TSX before, when i drive TSX was very uncomfortable. and TSX's balance is very very bad when i drive 60 miles or higher. Acura had good exterior design of each model but They have not good performance for each model. i never buy Acura again.

CVT is terrible, car is slower than prev model, and gas mileage is also poorer

This is a good looking, nice driving and handeling car, MPG is poor @ 22mpg, turning radius is poor often requires backing up to realign to pull into parking places. The 07 is a nicer and better looking car than the prev models, but the CVT just kills this car, if you trying to pass or just speed down the highway by nailing the throttle the engines revs to point that you think the rods could go through the pan at any moment the speedometer goes to 85 and stops while the engine continues to rev, you actually have to back out of the gas for the thing to pick up anymore speed, getting this thing to run a 100mph is almost impossible. Our 04 model was a much better performing car, as a matter of fact I bought the 07 without a test drive because I had been so pleased with the last car, BIG MISTAKE. If you like the Maxima find you an 06 in good shape and you'll be much happier, or you can always hope that they do away with the CVT...........read morehide

The glove box seems very cheaply made.

This car is lovely and sporty. I would only suggest that they us more chrome on the outside, framing all windows. But overall this car is the smoothest riding car I have ever owned. This is my third Maxima and I have owned an Avalon, hands down this is the better ride.

Had a service engine light 5 times. 3 times before my first oil change.

Rear passenger window shakes when you close the door. Also had my tire monitor light come on for no reason. Water leaking from the sunroof. We are currently in arbitration with the dealer. Bought a new car so we would have these problems . Go figure!

drive up and down the east coast few times a year, comfort is great.

while gas mileage is just okay, I would like it to be better.

As I said, I drive over 1000 miles each way up and down the east coast and this care is the most comfortable ever. My bad back doesn't complain at all. The pick up is phenomenal and the handling is the best. I am trying hard to find something to complain about so I guess like others it would be the gas mileage. But I knew what I was getting so even there I can't really complain.

With all the features this car has I am so happy to call it mine. I have had it almost 1 year and haven't regretted a single minute. I am no kid, in my 60's so looks weren't all I was going for, although it has that too....read morehide

Just one: disappointed in mileage. NO where near EPA ratings.

It's impossible for me to believe that previous reviewers purchased the same car I did. All I can say is, MINE is phenomenal. With features like Blue Tooth, Intelligent Key, Rear Sonar Park Assist, Memory Seats, Power Tilt and Telescopic Wheel, you get things you expect in a car costing thousands of dollars more. I have had mine for six weeks now and have NO problems at all. Build quality is superb. The car is tight, quiet and FAST.

I've owned many cars, luxury and sports sedans costing tens of thousands more than my new Maxima. They were great cars! But for the money, you just can't beat the package that Maxima is offering.

I've got just under 1,000 miles on the car now. My only issue is the mileage. I expected more than the average 21.8 MPG (with mostly highway driving) that I've been getting. I'm hoping this will improve as the car accumulates more miles....read morehide

I am 6'3" and about 250 lbs and for a sedan I fit fine. The only problem that I have encountered is comming up with excuses for my wife not to drive it.. LOL Anyway it is a great vehicle for the money. I got the SE loaded except for the nav package but I have every option I need. The Bluetooth is amazing and has saved me many times over.
I paid 28k for a 34k listed vehicle... All the haters are just mad cause this car Rocks and their accords and Camry's are just boring ..........read morehide

CVT lacks immediate power and gives poor gas mileage

I traded my 2004 Maxima SE with 75k miles for the 2007 SL. I loved my 04 except for noisy harsh ride. I got a good deal on my 07 and love the looks, and quiet smooth ride. The power is adequate but I am very disappointed that the CVT robs low-end torque and so far the gas mileage has averaged 21 mgp. My 2004 averaged 24.5 consistently. I think a 6-speed auto would have worked better than the CVT. The 2004 is quicker and more fun to drive but lower quality interior and noisy harsh ride. The brakes are also better on the 07....read morehide
