I'm at about 42,000 miles. My brakes squeek so loudly, the neighbors stare. My mileage is dropping like a stone (I'm down to 15 mpg). I've had this car less than 1 year, and am not too happy with it. Although the interior is fantastick, the exterior is a total "soccer-mom" car (not cool for a single girl w/ no kids!). Now that gas is $3.54 a gal for premium, it's $60 for a fill up (weekly)! And don't try to cheap out...I just put a tank of regular in & the car sputters, bucks & feels like it wants to stall. One more thing is that the sunroof opening is VERY small (10" tops)... Oh..1 more thing..the back window gets filthy SUPER fast & I swear there is a chemical in the auto glass. My windows streak like crazy within 24 hrs. of cleaning them. WEIRD
All I can say is that thank God the interior is so nice!...read morehide

54,000 miles and no problems. Routine maintenance is all it takes! Not too big...not too small. Good cargo area flexibility.

I've had my Murano for about 30,000 Km now. I am very impressed with the performance and control of this vehicle. Contrary to other SUV's I've driven, when pushed into spirited driving, the Murano just "digs in" and seems to enjoy it. Other vehicles I have driven have had pronounced lean or seem to be a little "twitchy" when being pushed. I am very happy with the vehicle over all. The one issue I would have is the interior trim. I have had the speedometer faceplate rattle loose, the stereo faceplate malfunction twice, the electrical outlet rattle loose, and other minimal things that can become tiresome if it keeps happening. There have been no problems in having things repaired by Nissan though. There are no arguments or frustrations, they simply just take care of it for me. That is the big difference for me. I have had new vehicles from other manufacturers and have been argued with and/or blamed when something breaks. This usually meant they didn't want to cover it under warranty. What good is a warranty if everything is an argument and nothing is covered? Nissan has never done that to me and have stood behind their product fully. You would not be making a bad choice when choosing the Murano and Nissan....read morehide

Traded in my 350Z for the Murano and no complaints. Roomy, great ride, even using the navigator more than I thought I would. Glad I made the switch. Meets all of my needs for speed and comfort!
