Write a ReviewPurchased As New
I bought this in the metalic gray color, new after owning an '03 WRX. It was everything I'd hoped it would be; the same great handling and excellent reliability with sufficiently increased performance to handle any speed freak tendancies one may have. It handles family duty and does well in organized motorsports stock classes with little/no modifications whatsoever. This car should not be purchased solely for the track, as the regular STi has slightly better CG, weighs a few pounds less, and I'm betting the large wing does add some downforce at speed....read morehide

The car is come with full tank of oil, I fully test it on all speed;Cons happen. When the tank was almost empty I changed to 91 ot. oil (gasoline). It become car of another level! No push! silent when acc. over 120 Km.
I thank due to the high compression rate of 10 the computer has adjust BTDC to prevent rocking that cause push on stopping. Please submit more test results for this SUPER SUBARU ENGINE!!!...read morehide

I have been a loyal Honda driver for over 15 years, but my husband wanted to buy me the Subaru for a Christmas present. I was sceptical, to say the least, expecting it to be a poor addition to our Civic. (just can't give up those Hondas. having put over 400,000 miles on the two we have owned)
The car has amazed me. We took it into the mountains for a week and drove through ice, sleet, rain, winding mountain roads and long distance on I-95. The handling and comfort surpassed Honda in every category. The Impreza drives and rides like a far more expensive car.
We have the "Sport Package," which includes alloy wheels, a sunroof, 6CD stereo, and a few other perks. What a delight!
I never thought I would find a car better than a Honda, but if the car continues to perform the way it has for the two months I have owned it I will be a loyal Subaru driver for many cars to come.
The only major oversight in the car is the lack of backseat legroom. It is not that it is just a little tight, if a normal sized adult is in the front seat, there is NO legroom in back. I can not figure out how they could have overlooked this in an otherwise perfect car. I rarely have backseat passengers, so it does not affect me too often.
The fold down armrest/trunk access is a nice touch. The trunk is roomier than my Honda. The safety features are what sold me, but the details keep me happy....read morehide

Last good looking WRX, I have had my TR WRX almost 10 months now and I have had zero problems. My only concerns, which are very minor, is that the base radio and seats that comes in TR could be better. No MP3 player input or MP3 CD capabilities and random track option has to be selected each time you turn on the car. My only issue with the seats is that I wish they had bigger bolsters for my ribs. At 6'5" this is the best fitting performance car in this price range. The turbo is too much fun and the exhaust noise from the boxer engine is hard to beat. There is some slight understeer when powering around a corner but it only takes a slight ease off the accelerator to get the weight shifted and get it pointed to where you want to go. Road noise, stiff suspension and stiff seats dont do well on the highway but around town they excel. Best bang for the buck for sure....read morehide

This is my first Subaru and it will not be my last. I love the all wheel drive, the power, and the mpg. The kids love the look and the ride as well!

I formally owned Subaru's in the mid 1980's, but had only bought domestic cars since, but decided to try Subaru again, boy am I glad I did. This WRX Limited is a great package, luxury and performance all in one. This car is a pocket rocket, you have to be aware of your speed, you are traveling 60 mph before you know it, and rides so smooth you don't realize it !!!!! I was going to wait and buy an 08 WRX but after driving both, I prefer the 07 model, it has more of a Racer look, and handles better in my book, the 08 is to soft of a ride. I'm 57 years young now, and enjoying every moment now. I wasn't really enjoying driving my cars I owned lately, they were just transportation, the former cars included an 01 Camaro SS, and 07 Trailblazer SS. They were quick, but I really didn't enjoy driving them, not much road feel, numb driving experience except for the speed factor. The 07 WRX has it all, the complete package !!!!!! TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT !!!!!!!!...read morehide

Great car for the price - lots of cargo space, decent sound system [premium sound w/satelite], good performance for the price. 18-24 year-olds will think you are cool...

My dream car since I was 8 years old. My 18th birthday I bought one, silver with silver wheels. I live in North East Pa, and it is perfect for all these back roads (and dirt roads, it still is a rally car after all.) The was definitely set towards a specific group of people, between 18-30 I'd say, but with their Limited Edition, they tone it down and put in leather to accommodate someone "older" who doesn't want a giant wing that screams for attention....read morehide

I have put close to 30,000 miles on my 2007 Impreza 2.5i as I drive considerable distances for business and pleasure. To date, I have not experienced even the slightest problem

Glad we paid more and got the car with the upgrade package. The 6-speaker 6-CD player has very good sound. Love the 16" wheels both for looks and traction. The interior upholstery is nicer looking than the standard and the controls look much better. We're trying to be objective, although the fact we traded in a worn out 1995 Ford Escort 5-speed stick makes for a ludicrous contrast (trading up to the Good after driving the Bad and the Ugly).
Wish the back seat and trunk were bigger, but we knew what we were getting and it's just the two of us most of the time. The styling (I think one of the Italian designer had something to do with the new grill) is superb -- with the under-grill scoop and design, it looks fast just sitting there.
We had to swallow hard as it is a bit pricey for a small car (although not ridiculously out of line). But given that our other car is a rear wheel drive Mercedes that is tempremental in snow, we are anxiously awaiting the first nasty snowstorm so we can go bombing around in our AWD go-cart before the plows get out. It has already proven itself in the rain (where it's just enough rain to make the oil on the street get real slick). It hugged the asphalt like it had glue on the tires. Really good acceleration and pep for any subcompact, but especially one with AWD and automatic and only 4 cylinders. The concern about a road trip breakdown 200 miles from a Subaru dealer is a little scary, but we see enough old Subarus around Chicago that we're convinced they must be pretty reliable people wouldn't keep buying them....read morehide
