A quality SUV like it's always been. Bought it after a couple bad winters and will never look back. I drove the v6 and the v8 and was impressed with the power of each. Yet, with the Xreas suspension system it provides a smooth comfortable ride... for an SUV.
No comments on gas mileage-it's an SUV. Not a hybrid, not a crossover, an SUV.

I read comments regarding head room and was concerned. I am 6-2 and found that after adjusting the seat I had three inches of head room and I did not feel uncomfortable. I do not know how a 5-10 person could only have 1 1/2 of clearence. I think that appearence is personal preference and I like the appearence of this vehcile. I do not understand why someone would select the v-6 model over the v-8. the v-6 is underpowered and the fuel economy is better with the v-8 due to how hard the engine must work for the same performance. Based on price and comparison with other makers with similar models, makes this a good value....read morehide

Great value!!! This is my 2nd 4runner. I was a bit disappointed with my first(1995). But the improvements in passenger room, storage, speed, and fuel economy are amazing. Truly a great car for a family with kids and a dog.

I love my 4 Runner! I got my 2007 4 Runner about a year and a half ago, right when they were releasing the 2007s and I am in love. I originally wanted the car because I wanted an SUV and they were the most attracting to my eye. Finally for my birthday, my dad and I picked out my very own... to my surprise of not knowning much about the car, it has done nothing but exceed my expectations. Driving this car is so enjoyable, I love it, I call her my baby! I haven't noticed a noise problem with my sunroof as others have stated. The great things about it is the smooth ride, I also average about 18 Mpg city as opposed to the 16 it says, and thats with unleaded fuel. Great car to take on trips because of the space and comfort within the vehicle. I feel much safer in this car than any other ones I've had, I love being high up on the road and with all the features like the limited slip differential, driving in bad conditions has made me more comfortable as well. With some of the conditions I have had to drive through, I swear my 4 runner must have turned into a boat and then back into a SUV after the lake of water over the road I drove through, meanwhile other cars got stuck... I made it through! This car may be a little on the expensive side but it is worth it, and If you can't afford an expensive note, look into buying either a new used one or even the lease factors on the new ones. All in all this is the best car I have ever owned!!...read morehide

This is my second 4runnter that I am very pleased with. The gas mileage is better than the older models and the pickup has improved. Yes Toyota's SUVs costs more than some of its competitors, their vehicles are made to last.

i literally drove this suv through a tornado--just one day after purchasing the truck, it handled like a dream through the wind, heavy rains, i never felt unsafe. on my road trip, i encountered a rain-sleet-snow storm after the heavy rains and tornados--yes this is a true story--the truck handled like a dream. i outchased the storms and lived to tell about it, i have over 50k on the truck now and will never consider another manufacturer. long trips are especially comfortable in this suv...read morehide

Very Happy with this SUV. It replaced a '03 Ford Explorer, and before that a '99 Grand Cherokee. MPG averages 24.4 in mixed city/road driving. Ford got 17.6 doing the same driving. SR5 is smaller inside, and not as comfortable on really long drives,. The 6 has plenty of power and tows my small boat very well. The overall quality of the SR5 is a bit better than the Explorer and MUCH MUCH better than the Jeep!...read morehide

This is my first SUV and third Toyota. I have always loved Toyotas and this is the best vehical I have ever owned. I drive a long way to work and the ride makes the commute so much more managable. My 4Rnr is beautiful and attracts lots of attention :).

This is my 4th SUV. 3 Chevy's and now the 4Runner. The quality of this vehicle is so much better than the Chevy's. It's more solid, and better built, no rattles either. It seems very reliable, which my last Trailblazer (2006) was NOT.
