This is my second 4runnter that I am very pleased with. The gas mileage is better than the older models and the pickup has improved. Yes Toyota's SUVs costs more than some of its competitors, their vehicles are made to last.

Very Happy with this SUV. It replaced a '03 Ford Explorer, and before that a '99 Grand Cherokee. MPG averages 24.4 in mixed city/road driving. Ford got 17.6 doing the same driving. SR5 is smaller inside, and not as comfortable on really long drives,. The 6 has plenty of power and tows my small boat very well. The overall quality of the SR5 is a bit better than the Explorer and MUCH MUCH better than the Jeep!...read morehide

Great vehicle for the price. I hope to have this one for a long time. I've always been a Dodge Girl..But this is much better.

It is a great car. Power window buttons difficult to reach. I like the car very much.

The flaws: The automatic wind deflector for the moon roof isn't very efficient at cutting down the noise, will probably get an external one. Rear passenger doors have a lot of cold draft when driving-rear heating vent doesn't really help with that.
Expected: Gas mileage is as expected, they say its supposed to be about 16 mpg, I get about 17.39 mpg in city and I do start out quick-lead foot! lol If I drove nicer could probably get 18 mpg out of it.
Good Stuff: Seats are comfortable, firm with good support-firm support is more valuable than softness when ya arent a kid anymore! lol I find that since your feet are more out in front of you rather than bent down-it's much easier on the knees when making a long trip! Electric lumbar adjustment in driver seat another bonus! Fabric seat appears top quality and nice!
I traded in a Honda CRV when I bought the 4Runner, and wow, it was like going from a Ford escort into a luxury car! CRV was choppy, bumpy, every crack in the road was LOUD, I seriously do NOT understand the popularity of the CRV! I went with a brand new 4Runner because the savings of buying one a year or two old was so minimal-fact is, they hold their value well! Seemed silly to sacrifice some of the manufacturer warranty and the luxury of NEW when the difference in price between new and slightly used was less than $1000. Sure the 4Runner price is a little steep, but as with most things in life, you get what you pay for! There just aren't many vehicles on the road that hold their value as well as Toyota products do!
I recommend the 4runner to anyone interested in a quality, quiet & smooth SUV....read morehide

Excellent! Good fuel economy, GPS comes standard, smooth ride comfortable Except it has a little hard time going up the high places. Not too much tough it can still go at about 150 kph on a mntn.

owned this 2007 4runner for about 6 months overall a very nice suv. nice smooth ride, good power. got this suv for below invoice price and a free moonroof. driver's seat does get uncomfortable during long drives but nothing too major. 4runner has a 5star resale value, very safe suv, and very nice ride. great style would recommend it to anyone looking for a new suv. Oh and it's one of the few toyota cars made in japan!...read morehide

Overall, a very reliable SUV. Toyota needs to make more comfortable seats and better performance from the engine/transmision and better sound system. The sound system is only average for the cost of vehicle.

I bought this truck because it looks good and I believe I can get 18mpg in the city. But it can only gets 14.5 mpg drive in the city. Toyota should not lies about the gas mileage .
