Over all fit & finish good, stiff but comfortable ride

Not all radio function work, windows rattle when down, mpg inconsistent city 18 to 24, hwy 23 to 29.

This auto was purchased to be used as a travel vehicle in our retirement and during the first 3000 miles this autos mileage was 26mpg city and 29+mpg highway. From that point on it was 18/20 city and 23/24 hwy, now @ 30k miles. Radio automatic volume control, and disk shuffle mode has never worked. The dealers response was your buying bad gas and that radio stuff never works. We then wrote a letter to Toyota Corp. of our concerns and never received an answer....read morehide

Truly a beautiful car. Handles well with good acceleration. A quiet ride with top up or down. Not a sports car. No engine or exhaust noise. Good stereo and good air conditioning. Has only been back in the shop for an oil change. Lives up to the quality reputation of Toyota so far. Good trunk space for a convertble. transmission feels off, cant find a leak but know I have one not as quiet as I would have thought

Owned this car about 14 months, love the performance, but dislike the shifting of the transmission, breaks feel off and are noisy. Will keep it another 2 years and trade...but what for not sure yet. Think it is about 5 to 7 thousand overpriced. Needs more head room when the top is up. Love the sporty style of the car. Dont like the holes in the leather, dirt trap and they do wear faster. Would not buy another too pricey. May look at a Nissan next....read morehide

Drivers door window leaks. Bluetooth is poor

I bought this car as an upgrade from our 05 solara. It is nice but the window leak has been looked at 4 times and its still not fixed. Water comes in everytime we get it washed. The bluetooth sounds like a poor speakerphone. I haven't been impressed with Toyota's service. I've tried 2 dealers SD and both have failed to preform well and fix the problem. One even left needle nosed pliers in my leather seat.
If they can't fix the car they sell, I don't think I'll buy another. I wished I would have kept my 05 solara. It worked flawlessly....read morehide

Super ride. Back passenger side window rattled, Toyota was able to fix it.

Great size for two baby car seats in the back and excellent size trunk.

Vehicle bought in July 2007 and it has been back at the dealership six times to fix the rattling of the back windows - we have asked Toyota to help us as well and still do not have the car fixed. I am very disappointed because I would have expected more from Toyota. I wish I had bought a 2008 Honda Accord instead....read morehide

Shaky ride, mismatched paint, wind noise.

This is one of the few cars I have not taken an extended warranty on. I won't be keeping it that long. In fact, if it wasn't a ragtop it might be gone already. Toyota has always claimed to put out a perfect product - guess what - this isn't. There is an annoying "shake" which they attribute to flexing of the body because it is a convertible. I'll bet they fixed it for the Lexus. The paint on the fiberglass panels doesn't match the color on the sheet metal panels. I have major problems with this car and with transmision problems,acceleration problems and rattles . When traveling down the interstate and think you can hop into the fast lane think again if you own this car-----major hesitation when you are going about 20mph and would like to accelerate and move into the next lane with faster traveling cars. I will never let my kids drive this car on the highway. I have never owned a Toyota I will go back to my Honda......
