This car is good on gas and drives great small and perfect for parking

The BAD THING about the yaris when going 60mph and theres high winds you can feel the car shake alot

we drive the car to work mon-fri and its about 80 mile comute every day, but when going on a brige its horrible the winds just rock the car side to side almost like theres people out side saking the car.Other than that the car is excellent perfect for first time drivers and studens

Great car but how are you all getting 40 mpg??? Mine is brand new and Im getting 27mpg at most. I drive 80mph on the freeway so you all must be going 55mph. when you post your mpg, you should post your average mph as well. i can get 100 mpg if i putt around at 25 mph and push in the clutch going downhill....read morehide

Fuel economy is as good as advertised, has been very dependable, with no problems.

Don't like the Dash board center location. Its distracting to look in the middle while driving

The car has been very dependable, and as the price of gas rises, the purchase looks better and better.

My only complaints are the location of the dashboard, and interior comfort. It takes a while to get use to the Speedometer being located in the center. The location has already cost us one ticket. Also, if you are a big person, I don't recommend this car. I am 6ft 3inches, and there is not much leg room at all. But I bought this car for my wife, and since she is smaller, its not an issue with her....read morehide

This car has met all of my expectations. I've already driven over 13.000 miles in my Yaris S and I'm still excited to get behind the wheel. This car is perfect for anyone who is concerned with fuel economy, cost and reliability with an attractive exterior.

Overall I don't understand how this car only came in 22nd compaired to small affordable cars. It's lower priced and has better gas mileage than other all the other cars I looked at. In my opinion it is a much better deal than most of the small cars I looked at. I got mine with all the extras for under $15000. The power in underrated on this car. I was plesantly suprised at how much power it does have. I'm 6'1'' and can set comfortably in both the frount and back seat. Most important, my wife thinks it's cute and she loves it....read morehide

I bought it for economy and that's what I got. It gets up to 39 highway

Steering is too sensitive. You really got to keep your eyes on the road at higher speed.

Ibought the base no frills model and added my own cruise control, power locks with remote, power hatch release and a brighter hatch courtesy light for $400.00 from the internet.
I didn't see the need in power windows since I can reach across pass seat to pass door crank.
I kill the engine taking off from a stop quite a lot. It serves the purpose of being an economy car. I refer to it as being my expensive to purchase coke can on wheels....read morehide

i do a lot of city driving and the gas mileage is always 32-34MPG. If the alignment is off the mileage drops to about 29MPG, that's still pretty good. i got 23,000 miles on my yaris and so far all maintance i've done is an oil change. I used to own an 03 camry, when i got the yaris my insurance dropped big time. overall this car saves money and i cant complain. For $16000 and a $27 gas fill up it doesn't get any better....read morehide

can't fit 3 of em in my garage

besides the great gas mileage, it's quiet, smooth running and almost maintenance free. change the oil and keep your windows clean. That's it. And your siblings will all want one.
