I've taken this car on long trips, 1200 mile round trip(MN to KY) and it drives like a top. I can get 37mpg on the interstate. I normally get around 27 in mixed driving. if you want to drive a peppy 4-cylinder that looks great, handles well and gets great MPG take a look at the TSX. the only downside is the backseat is tight for average sized adults....read morehide

I have had the car for over a month now....... and it keeps getting better. Highway mileage is at 36-37 mpg........ if you drive like a normal person ! Great car......... makes you wonder why american auto companies cannot build a car like this ???

The car is about perfect in every way. Not a total luxury bomb, but enough comfort bits to satisfy. Good seats, visibility, ergononomics. While styling is frequently a personal matter, the car looks great, stable and ready to roll. Build quality is excellent, handling and braking are very good. I've owned 4 Hondas over the past 20 years, so I new what I was getting into ......... a great car. I planned on purchasing a 2008 Honda Accord, but after months of research and speaking to a Honda salesman for a month, I happened to walk next door to the Acura dealership one evening (same owner) to check out the 2008 Acura TSX. I couldn't beleive all the equipment that comes standard on the vehicle ! Including side-curtain air bags, which cost extra on most cars today.
This car is the perfect size, color, (pearl green) and price. I was amazed that a car was still maufactured with this quality for the price. The interior is a beautiful tan leather, whith just enough wood tone accents, without looking cheap, like so many others.
The ride is nice and tight (sports sedan), but that relates to the whole car ........ solid.
Yes, this vehicle suggest using premium fuel, although you can use regular, but the gas mileage and performance will not be as good. My car got 32 mpg. on the highway last week, and it's brand new, so the vehicle is not even broken in yet ! City mpg. is aroung 27-28 ..... and the resale price of this vehicle is at the top. That's one one of the main reasons I chose Acura/Honda.......... you get money in return. Cars today are round pods, but the TSX has actual corners !...read morehide

We're expecting our first child soon, and we needed a car that was roomy, fuel efficient, and safe. The TSX is all this and more: it has an excellent safety rating, fits a rear facing child seat with room for an adult in the back, and what's more it's got some punch for a 4 cyl. (I just couldn't quite bring myself to go the minivan route just yet).

This car has been a joy to drive in the few short days that I've driven it. It handles well, has excellent fuel economy and is roomy without losing the sporty feel. At 28k, it's probably the most affordable luxury car on the market, and is in the same ballpark as a fully loaded Camry or Accord.

Note: If you're thinking about purchasing, now's the time to buy. A new body style for the '09 TSX hits the street 4/24/08, so I think dealers are trying to get rid of their '08 inventory. I got mine for just below invoice at $25,888 plus fees....read morehide

I really love this car. i was initially a bit skeptical because my old car was a V6; 3.5 L engine. I am glad i bought it as it performs just as well and uses less gas.

The interior of this car is very nicely laid out and is visually pleasing. The stereo is good, the seats are very comfortable and supportive, and it has all the bells and whistles you might want.
I am coming out of an Acura legend into the TSX, and compared the Legend, the ride in the TSX is quite a bit more stiff and bumpy. Road noise is also a lot more pronounced than in my legend, something I did not expect. On the other hand, the TSX's handling is much improved over my Legend, and the 5speed auto transmission shifts at better points than the Legend also.
Gas mileage was 32mpg on my first tank, a 300 mile trip mostly country highways driving 60-70mph. It is easy to go fast in this car though, 70mph does not feel that fast at all because it feels very secure and stable at high speeds. The engine is easy to rev and is as pleasant at low as at high RPM.
This car is quite nice looking inside and out, and I can sure recommend it as long as you can handle the sporty suspension and road noise....read morehide

I absolutely love my car. I'm in my early 20's and I can't think of a better car to mature with in class and luxury and still keep my youthful attitude. I love the safety features and all the high tech things such as the oil-life feature and tire pressure. It's just a comfortable ride on the road and I enjoy driving my car.
