This is my fourth convertable and second BMW convertable. I absolutely love this car! Outside of some very minor announces, this is a dream ride. Love the hard top roof that dramatically cuts down on noise and the 6 speed manual transmission is fun to drive. Definitely a car that gets people's attention and one that I can see owning for many years to come!...read morehide

Looks very sporty. Hard top convertible is a plus and adds to the sleekness to it's look. However, seats have given me lower back problems. I've had to add a pillow for better lower back support.

At 25K miles in one year, this is a superb car: elegant, graceful and sleek. Power from standing start is only adequate, but the handling at speed and on curves is outstanding. The sport seats are a must, they take the driving experience to a different level. Only problem has been to reset a tire pressure sensor. Drove the car 16-17 hours per day on a trip West, it proved amazingly comfortable. Can't beat the convertible top driving through Rocky Mountain National Park. 25.2mpg total overall, 29 highway. Shifter needs to be a shorter throw, audio could be more user friendly, but this is a tremendous, well-made, fun yet great daily-driver, feel-good car....read morehide

i love this car, its the best, i bust a nut just lookin at the thing... best thing about the car is the top down and me driving down the road and everyone staring, the worst part of this car is the payments and filling it up with gas, and oh yes the back seats are a bit small for taller humans... i think it was meant for two people rather than four, cheaper on the insurance. i love the finance rate they offered, .90 finance, compare to mercedes 4.9 percent.... a big difference there..so if your looking at c class, your paying about the same with the bmw convertible and the mercedes doesn't offer a hard top convertible..i love the blue tooth phone thing, love the ride, its fast, but the tires do make it kinda of bumpy on the back roads, but then agian this isn't a 4x4.... it was meant for cruising and picking up girls to make love in the hotel, or in the penthouse condo.... i love the seats, you can press a button and your hugged in tight for fast turns, and if you want to change the seat confort, its right there with a touch of a button.... i really wanted the mercedes sl converitble but its twice the amount of the bmw, so i figure i can buy a boat with the other half...i love this car, i bust a nut on this car,,...read morehide

My wife and I picked up the 328i convertible in Munich in June taking advantage of the European Delivery Program, a very pleasant experience, well oranized and highly recommendable if you plan on traveling through Europe. And it saves $4,500 off the MSRP. We drove the car over 11 Alpine passes in Austria, Italy, France and Switzerland in two weeks (1,750 miles). The most thrilling experience was the drive up the Stilfser Joch in northern Italy with its 48 hairpin curves. The car's handling was just outstanding and the Steptronic feature performed flawlessly. The engine's power was more than ample, zooming by other cars and busses on steep mountain roads even in 10,000 ft. altitude, or on the Autobahn at 130mph.
With the top down the trunkspace was OK for one big suitcase and smaller bags for camera etc . A second suitcase was stored on the backseat with the backrest in the down position to protect the leather seat. When we parked in questionable urban areas, we closed the top in 22 seconds and put the second suitcase also in the trunk. No big deal.
We dropped off the car in Zurich and received it in Chicago 5-1/2 weeks later.
The car's mileage is now 8,000 and except for a new I-Pod module I experienced no other trouble and enjoy driving this car every day.
This is my fifth BMW and replaces a 1998 convertible 328i, which I drove without major repairs for 120,000 miles.
After a great summer, too bad winter is coming to Chicago....read morehide

I traded in 325 for the convertible. Really an upgrade for us and we went from two vehicles to one. Enjoy driving on road trips, but only two people can go and one set of golf clubs.

This is an absolute amazing car. I bought mine in Sept07, trade in my previous 2001 330Ci coupe . This is the manual 6-speed gearbox, aluminum trim, black leather, all extras except navigation system (I hate those gizmos).
The price (50K) is a bargain when you consider you buy two new bimmers for the price of one. So amazingly different and so equally BMWish at the same time.
I live in Wisconsin, between Dec and Feb put on winter tires (Blizaak) and the car handled like the AWD version, no exageranting. The roof up, and is an beautiful nice looking coupe. Since May the roof is down (rain allowing) and voila, is the nicest convertible out there.
230 plus horses , six-straight 3 liter engine moves you quickly and safe through traffic.
Inside, all controls are pure German: quality, simplicity, intuitive, nothing is superflue, nothing is missing, takes few minutes to figure out everything.
Mileage is wonderful for this engine size and so is the overall handling in every condition wet, slippery, dry.
I wish BMW links the rain sensor to the roof control, so I can leave the top down at the parking lot without concerns of midwest ever changing weather conditions...read morehide

The 2008 328i Convertible is a great car to drive...especially on the highway. Leaving Mercedes Benz was the best decision I've ever made.
