Had my 2007 M Coupe for a year now, and still love the looks as I approach the car. The interior is all business, with deep red leather race-style seats with carbon leather trim around me. Fast speeds in 5th gear since 6th gear is speed-limited. So far Ive managed to not scrap the low bodywork. Also, the OEM wheels are perfect for this low-slung coupe.
I used to have the roadster, so I do miss the ragtop on nice days, but the coupe feels so solid that a sports car hard roof makes real sense to me nowadays....read morehide

Nice little sports car for the BMW enthusiast. Must test drive yourself and you will be amazed. MPG is average for its power.

I love this car. It really is my favorite car that I have driven and the best handling BMW bar none. After 5 bimmers, I can say this is the ultimate 2-seater sports car for the M driver. After 4 months, I still get a thrill just commuting to work and back home. And I still get lots of complements from co-workers and wide-eyed looks from fellow drivers. The dark red leather sport seats are the best in any German car for sale today....read morehide

Overall this car is fantastic, however, my previous car was a 350Z and comparing the abilities of these two cars and the prices, the BMW comes up way short on value. However, the limited porduction of the M Coupe gives it a unique level of exclusivity. I see more M6 and M5 BMWs than M Coupes. Also, there aren't many 330 hp two seat coupes than can haul as much luggage or home depot purchases, as this car can....read morehide

Have had car 1 1/2 years and it still get looks everywhere. Still have not come across another one on the road. Upgraded tires to larger Michelin PS2's, much better grip. Ipod interface works OK but it would be better if the NAV screen displayed the song playing. Ride is stiff but quite acceptable for this type of car. Acceleration, handling, style, exclusivity in one package- I considered a Corvette, but am very happy with my choice....read morehide

this is what a sports car suppose to be: it is fun, it is quick, it is nimble, it is sharp... a drivers car, no less... If you like to drive slow and smooth, this car is not for you, but if you drive it with "bold" attitude... this is one fun car. 2 thumbs up, thanks BMW.

Got this car in January. I've had a 2004 Z4, 3.0, 2006 M Roadster and now the Coupe. I got this because I loved the Roadster but needed a coupe to go on the track with the car clubs. I really love the unique look and 2 out of 3 people estimate the price at about $100k. Some people don't care for the looks but I love all the curves and I think people overestimate the price because it reminds them of the high priced exotics. How many cars have a double contour roof under $200k? (None) The finishing details are great on the inside and everything is well put together. I have 24k miles on the roadster and almost 3k on this coupe and they seem to be holding up well, no rattles. The Continental tires are only OK. They're good for daily use and roadtrips but not the best traction but good in rain. I'd look at Michelin PS2's or Falken Azeni's and maybe a couple others if you want to really hang some corners or drive onto the track. If you're thinking of buying one you could throw that into the deal with the dealership. I love the storage of the hatchback coupe which is great for a 2-seater. It's a sportscar so the seats are a bit stiff along with the suspension, but that's to be expected from a track-ready car. My favorite is really the appearance. If you look at an M Coupe, stand at the 3/4 view and just follow the curves over the hood and roof and then along the sides all the way across the door to the back. It's really a piece of sculpturing and you won't look like the 20 thousand Corvettes or even the look alike Porsche's that are out there. The radio/CD is fantastic and I and my son ran a high fidelity Ipod sound test through the system and it handled the test with excellence. The sound of the car is like a high reving Japanese or European car and not so much like the throatier U.S. models so you may like it more or less. Check out most the car mags and you'll see 0 to 60 times from 4.5 to 5.0 seconds which means you can keep up with most anything on the road. The M model gets more oil changes than the regular models and maintenance is free for 50k miles. So, take a look, especially like I said above and there are some really great new color combinations that I've not seen before, too. Good luck with your decision. Hope to see you on the road! p.s. Get a radar detector before you get home. You can go triple digits without feeling it on good pavement. You'll get in trouble and the cops will be noticing you....read morehide
