Was back and forth between Toyota Tundra and Silverado. Went with the Chevy after the 2000 dollar owner loyalty rebate came out. Not one bit sorry I did! I love this truck. The Toyota I test drove with the 5.7 had more power, but the chevy does just fine with the 5.3. The active fuel management system is almost unnoticeable, and the truck rides pretty nice on the highway even without a load. I think the Toyota had more room inside, but how much is too much? There's plenty of room in the Chevy. My 2 kids fit in the back fine, although leg room can be a little tight. I've been getting around 18 mgh with about a 25/75 split city/highway. Just took a trip to the beach and averaged almost 21. Maybe it will do even better when broke in? Give this truck a look if buying!
