Very quick, but good on gas. I've gone 400 plus miles on a tank( about 14 gallons). Without fully depressing the gas pedal, I've been over 90 m/h just getting on to the freeway on the entrance ramp. Currently has 21000 miles, tires are stlill good but won't last to 30K. This is 2006 purchased in 2007. Love the cruise control and heated seats. After market cup holder that fits between seat and console is great. Car ride is smooth up to 115m/h, my limit. Blind spot is big on the convertible, need to check mirrirs and turn your head....read morehide

This is my second xfire, the first was an Alabaster coupe with the cedar interior. It turned heads and was a great car. I bought it because I liked it and have always loved 2 seaters. It was a love affair that lasted 2 years until I found the roadster that I wanted. This is aero blue with two tone grey int. To say I lve this car is to put it mildly. I performs as it should. This car and all it's components are made by Mercedes, with the same quality and workmanship. It's put together by Karmann and the attention to detail is perfect. I work on my cars to make them perform better than factory, this requires very little to make it scream. Quick,Nimble, Gorgeous!!!...read morehide

I actually got an 04 Crossfire used from Carmax, and I'm using the term "used" loosely. It cost me $14,000 and had 3k miles on it, and was in perfect condition. I have yet to have any trouble with it, only needing to do the basics like wiper blades and oil changes, and it has been a year. The car isn't the fastest sports car from 0-20 mph (although definitely not at all slow), but it can really fly after that. The ride is smooth and the car is rigid, so it handles well even at high speeds. The downside is that it also lets you feel potholes and speed bumps more than some other cars. The interior of the car actually has a decent amount of space but doesn't have a ton headroom, so people over 6'2" may have some trouble. There is also a massive blindspot in each rear corner, so you really have to look back when merging or changing lanes.
The speakers it comes with are very nice stock, and it's great for city driving because you can fit in tight parking spots that most cars don't have a chance of getting in. The miles per gallon are pretty solid for a sports car, and you can fit a lot in the hatchback. I've been able to fit my girlfriends and my luggage in the back with room to spare, which is partly because there is no spare. The car did, however, come with run-flats and a repair kit.
The car also just looks amazing. It runs absolutely great, but if you're looking at this car, obviously you also like the looks. I get compliments on my car all the time, and still absolutely love driving it. I'd recommend one to just about anyone....read morehide

I bought my 04 out of the showroom 10/03 15miles on it..No problems what so ever..I do all my own service..The cars parts are accessible from Oreilly's online parts..Just put new brake pads after 5+yrs..Tires are expensive but you pay for the finer things..Smooth ride and I am at 93500..I have only liked one car better and that is the Chevy Corvette otherwise if you are single have the extra money want something nice this car would do the trick..My only advise keep it away from the dealer after the warranty..They serviced mine poorly which is why I do my own servicing now....read morehide

Can't say enough about this superb car. A dream. Better than BMW. Better than Mercedes SLK. Overall excellent value and excellent performance. Never a concern in lots of traffic, dark slippery country roads. In rain, snow sleet and ice, never a worry. On a clear day you can drive forever!

I've owned lots of cars but this is my favorite. Have a 2007 Limited
Roadster. Use it as a second car. It's not a great sports car but it is a sweet little cruiser. Very smooth doesn't beat you up like a Honda S2000. Might be the most civilized two seater on the road for the money.

I have had my 2006 crossfire for about 18 months. I get lots of compliments on the car. I have had no problems whatsoever! I don't think I would enjoy a hardtop as much as I do my convertible. Sorry to hear Chrysler stopped production. Would highly recommend the car. The blind spot can be a little tricky but you just need to be very cautious when driving with the top up....read morehide

Bought my black 2004 Limited Coup with less than 15,000 miles in May 2008. Everything was great until August when I started having trouble starting the car. After several expensive boards were replaced ($3000) and still no solution and Chrysler paying for rental cars for me every 2 weeks over 6 weeks. I finally traded the car to the Chrysler dealer after only owning it for 4 months and putting only 1,500 miles on it. I traded it in on a 2008 Avenger RT -- nice car but nothing special and certainly not sexy like the Crossfire. I miss the stares from people when I passed by in the Crossfire but at least the Avenger is in my possession every day versus vacationing every other week at the Chrysler dealer....read morehide
