Love the Pacifica. It is one of the best built vehicles Chrysler has ever made. I am sure it is from all the mercedes parts included. I have had over 2 years and it has run perfectly and still drives as new with no rattles or squeaks. Very luxurious ride with little wind noise even when windy on the highway. When mine is off lease I will probably buy it from Chrysler Financial and drive for another 3-4 years. My sister bought a 2005 new and has had no issues with it and it now has over 130,000. That definitely says something for the vehicle. Air bags galore including one for the drivers knee! Another great thing is the cargo capacity of 92 cubic feet! I have the 5 passenger and was able tp carry a grandfather clock and large ottoman at the same time from the furniture store. We bought a new 2000 Chrysler Concorde and drove it almost 200K miles. We were so pleased with the Concorde that we wanted to buy another Chrysler product with similar options. The Pacifica met all of our requirements with an added bonus of being able to pull a small trailer. We really enjoy the power seats , the individual climate controls for the front seats and the huge storage area with the rear seats folded down. As a tall woman, I find the leg room very impressive. I have room and so do my passengers.

Cons

The blind spots are the worst thing about the car. And the butt is too high, it's hard to back up.

I like this car!!! Its the best car I have every had. The odds of finding the PERFECT car is slim to none, the point is to find the car that suits your major needs!!

Some blind spots

So far this car lives up to the Chrysler nameplate. This is my 5th Chrysler. My Concorde has 300,000 miles on it and is still going strong. My only problem is that my wife hardly lets me behind the wheel.

I would NEVER recommend this car to anyone. It has such horrible blind spots that I'm very paranoid about backing up anywhere, especially out of parking spaces. It seems that every time I hit the brakes, another piece of the car falls off and rolls under my feet (I have more screws for which their home cannot be determined). The seat belts are on such a weird curve that they are very difficult to fasten. Because of my experience with this car, I doubt I will ever buy another Chrysler product....read morehide

comforatble for a family of 4 for around town, sharp looking & drives well.

Ave about 18.9 mpg, the brakes needed work at 14000 miles,HORRIBLE to back up

I like the Pacifica it looks nice & drives nice. Love the power hatch it comes in handy at the grocery store. The heated seats are great too.

It is impossible to back up though. I have to open the door sometimes to see how close I am to the cars behind me in tight parking lots. I feel like Ace Ventura at my kids preschool!

It also does not have a lot of storage space even with the third row seats down. Though I do like that the 3rd row has split seats. We have taken it on vacation and it wasn't that bad. I don't think the third row has the latch system for car seats either.
Overall it's ok but I definitly will not be buying it when my lease is up....read morehide

Transmission shifts poorly. Acceleration isn't the greatest.

I would just like to say that the overall performance of this vehicle is not too impressive. I am very disappointed in the Chrysler line up all together. The engines especially need to be made with a lot more innovation. Please try and get it right. You are making the American, (domestic) line look very poor....read morehide
