I bought this car just a week ago and I'm so happy with it! The seats are SUPER comfortable, love the heated seats and leather! Great car for the the money! Nice driving performace! Super cute; got mine in white. If I could I would live in my car, love, love driving it!! Wish it would be a little better on gas, but otherwise no problems so far! It was great car until a front wheel bearing started to go crunch, crunch, at 35000 miles. It cost over $500 to get it fixed after Chrysler refused help. If you check the internet, this is a common problem. The out of town dealer charged $112 each. Timkens list at $25 on the internet. What a way to chase away customers....read morehide

My PT is a '04 Base model with the manual 5 speed..and I love it. Put on a K&N Intake kit and it just hauls..able to spin my tires at any time. I'm 6'1" and there is plenty of leg space & head room. Have had no problems what-so-ever with the car. I get 26mpg in the city and I'm happy with that. The car has no problem of cruising 70 - 75mph out on the highway (even though it does feel like a small car). The steering and brakes are precise and they feel good with a complete feeling of having complete control. Would I buy another one? Yes!! (especially if they made a 2 door coupe or 3 door hatchback PT!!) Oh, my battery will need replacing before the end of 2008, but that's cool with me....read morehide

Everything is horrible! Quality, gas mileage...EVERY SINGLE THING!

Have an 05- limited edition fully loaded.. Has 50,000 miles on it now. Yesterday morning i go to get in it & the battery is dead. Charge the battery all day long & thing still will not work, batteries should last much longer. Fog lights, will not turn off unless the left blinker is on before i turn the car off i have to turn on the blinker or the fog lights will stay on, trying to turn them off manually- steering wheel starts smoking out of the key hole, car is a HUNK OF JUNK!!! I get 16 city and about 24 hwy- IF I'M LUCKY. Sun roof only closes when you play with it a few times, won't close if you do it the correct way.. Starter has been replaced 5 TIMES!!!! Car still doesn't start at times and the starter has to be hit with a metal bar if i want the car to go anywhere! Got into an accident, was sandwiched into between two huge trucks and police officers said airbags should have deployed, call chrysler dealer and they said it should only deploy if you get hit going faster then 60 MPH... this is a safety risk!!! Airbags should deploy anytime you are hit head on! After having it a month, with 300 miles on it- transmission blew leaving me with no car for 2 weeks. IS THIS JUST A "BAD EGG" or all they all like this? I've done my research and found that chrysler is rated one of the worst manufacturers for vehicles! not only that but the pt cruiser is one of the worst cars made 1-10 it is # 7 on the list. i would not recommend this vehicle to a single soul! no one deserves to be driving an unreliable HUNK OF JUNK!!!...read morehide

I have had mine since 2002. I have enjoyed every thing about it. Never been back for any repairs but basic maintenance. Just changed the battery for the first time! Lasted 6+ years. Looks good. Would buy another one.

I get 24.5 miles per gallon in the city to me that is not bad for a car that is this tall.

I love my PTC, but really expected better gas mileage, the cloth seats stain with a few rain drops, hard to keep upholstery clean. my little back table stand broke frist time I tried to use it. But I do love the way it looks coming down the road, definately stands along in great styling. Turning radius is not what one would expect from a car of this size.

I have been looking at these cars for years and heard that 2008 was going to be the last year of production, so I decided to get one. I was aware that the power was down on the non-turbo PTs so a Limited in Coast Blue was the only choice.
I find this car very enjoyable to drive and decided to see what the addition of some parts from the MoPar Performance catalogue could do. A change of the electronic control module and different injectors have turned this car into a rocket w/o any significant sacrifice in mileage, which wasn't good to begin with. I don't play with this car on the street very often but it's good to know that a small displacement 4-banger, wrapped in a great body style can still get it on when its called upon to do so....read morehide

My 2005 Touring Edition (Cool Vanilla) with automatic gets 18 - 20 city and 28 - 30 highway when not exceeding the speed limit by too much. No problems.
