Our 2008 XLT has RSC (Roll Stability Control), side curtain airbags, and a 5 star frontal crash rating. Never can be too safe. Comfort is excellent, and functionality is superb. Build quality is extremely good, ride is solid.
Tested the RSC in a parking lot and activated it quite easily. I think Ford is really trying to improve SUV (high center of gravity) safety. Tire pressure monitors are an added bonus. I would like to see MPG above 20 (like GM) but 18 frwy is o.k. I opted for after-market NAV/DVD. Factory NAV/DVD is over-priced, and the functionality is limited. I would have liked to have seen Ford use HID (high intensity discharge) headlights and LED tail lights, it is 2008 after all....read morehide
