I love the Sync

I personally think the car is alright, i like the sync because i just add my phone and hook up usb and i have my ipod, who flippin cares if the air vents are plastic and all that other bs people put as a con. I think they made the 08's better then the past years so Ford is moving up. I still prefer my Galant over it just because the get up and go is better. And for the noise everyone complains about Turn up the G-D Radio i could care less if the vehicle has noise when I drive it i am to busy singing to the music then to worry about all the BS people want to complain about.....read morehide

We own four focuses a 2002 with 70000 miles a 2005 with 28000 miles and now two 2008 ses models one coupe and one sedan. The 02 is my oldest sons and has been excellent, the 05 is my youngest sons and also is excellent. now the two o8s only have a few thousand miles on them but we love the ride fuel economy handling. and the sync system is amazing. Love this car..first car since 1986 and it handles well on country roads and smooth. Some road noise but not as bad as Mazda3, Nissen Versa, Honda Fit that I test drove..Love all the luxury options avaiable on Focus without paying a arm and leg..Mine is decked out(including leather heated seats) and has ABS and Traction control and still was less than $20,000 with all rebates ..Getting 28-30 mpg city/33-37mpg highway.....read morehide

Had my SES w/ Sync and all the bells and whistles (except moon roof) for 3 months/11k miles and I have to say I'm extremely pleased I got this car. Price was right and ride is very comfortable. Kinda has a big car ride feel to it. Lots of headroom and I love the Sync. Two minor downers. 1) Have to open trunk w/ remote (not a big deal). 2) No spare tire. Car comes with a tire repair kit and air pump. I have AAA and Ford Roadside Service so it probably really isn't a big deal. Will buy a full size rim and tire and this issue goes away. i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my 08 focus ses coupe! it is hot. i got it in red w/all the accessories! i love it and i will never go back. the sync system is awesome!!!!!! the leather is amazing, its such a smooth ride. i love it! its pricey, but worth it.

Very good, well balanced, fuel efficient and safe commuter for the price. Will probably be snubbed and underrated because it doesn't have a Japanese name, right?. Well, test it, you could be very surprised. Before buying it, I also closely looked at and/or tested a Civic, a Versa and a few other domestic and imported small cars and the Focus won with a comfortable margin. No compass or outside temperature display. No trunk release, but I guess it's fine on the key fob.

I bought a black SES coupe completely loaded with leather, SYNC, ambient lighting, sunroof, Sirius, etc. If you get the leather, you won't be disappointed as it feel very comfortable and has a "thick skin" quality type of feeling. I use it to travel back and forth 1-2 times a month from the Midwest to the East Coast and it does it on 1.5 tanks of gas (approx. 18 gallons!) with the automatic. I have an iphone and the hands free and SYNC is amazing, especially on long trips. The suspension rides and handles nice, especially hugging those windy Pennsylvania Trpk. roads. The lighting at night in the cockpit is very impressive, as the gauges look very cool to compliment the ambient lighting. The Focus may not be the hottest looking car out there (though it's not too bad), but the interior overall is solid and very functional. Compared to what you'll get from a Honda or Toyota, the Focus has by far the most features and overall comfort for the money. GREAT VALUE!!...read morehide

Brake/road noise. No darn spare, what a surprise! Better look in the trunk!

Overall the ride is great, the economy very good. That was the reason for the purchase. Compared to Nissan and Toyota the Focus is a great value. My son had the windows tinted for Fathers Day and it makes a huge difference with the weak A/C. I recommend you wax the front bumper often as the flat design really catches the bugs.
