2008 Ford Mustang GT Premium Coupe

Nothing like the sound of this V8; torque galore; looks awesome; good ride/handling trade-off

Center console is cheap plastic; the leather is not the best quality and there's too much vinyl

I've got a GT premium. Black w/ silver GT stipes looks awesome. I actually look for excuses to drive this car because it is so much fun to just take off. Step on the gas and whoa, you're there. The sound the engine makes is so simply delicious. I owned last generations BMW M3 and the dealer talked about how they spend time and money to perfect the sound of the engine and that so many details go in making a M3. Well guess what? This V8 sounds like the Three Tenors compared to the M3 which sounds like computer generated engine sound- aka FAKE.

The appearance is awesome. This is style and the look is retro but fresh.

The ride/handling is a good trade off. Not too rough, not too soft although the rear suspensions makes more noise than I like, probably because of the solid axle setup. But then again, I paid only $26k with every option there is and its been 100% reliable over 1 year and 16k miles. My M3 cost me $59k and was in the shop every other week for something. All that fancy technology doesn't mean diddly when you can use it!

Value wise this has got to be the best value out there. 5 out of 5 stars hands down. I have had no problems. My only complaints- teh Shaker 1000 system vibrates the body panels too much and that makes it feel cheap. They need more sound deadening material. The interior look is great! SUPER in fact but the quality could come up a few notches. The leather is not the best quality either and there's too much vinyl. It feels like plastic. That's where the M3 shines- the fake leather felt like real leather compared to this. The interior design of the M3 was weak but the quality was good to very good. Ford has the sytle hands down but quality is a bit lower. In the end I will buy another one in 2 years when the special edition comes out. I love it!
