This was my first car and I love it. The turning on the car is great (on my car at least). The car is also a chick magnet and all my friends want to drive with me. The car can go fast but it is easy to control. I would recommend this car to beginners and expert drivers. There are many things that you can add to the car if you want to. It can also out drive an average cop car (just kidding). A solid reliable car that is very cheap to maintain, insure and fun to drive. It has loads of power, great standard stereo/CD, handles like a dream and gets good fuel economy for a heavy safe car.

Just purchased 08 V-6 model, very fast, 23 mpg, excellent brakes. This is truly an American sports car. If you're looking for a comfortable ride and a "refined" engine, don't get this vehicle. Great looking car, maybe in the future I'll get a GT.

no room at ALL in back seat, bad tire pressure

I bought my 2008 Mustang 3 months ago. It has less than 4500 miles. For the past month my 'check tire pressure' light has came on, so I check pressure regularly, as well as taking it to the dealership to find nothing wrong. Last week my front tire just popped, luckily I wasn't driving it. $160 for a new tire. Book says there's a warranty for under 12k, dealership refuses to pay. And now my check tire pressure light is on AGAIN.

Other than this, I absolutely love it. MPG is good considering it's a sports car. Sporty, fun to drive, get lots of compliments (even asked out on a date!). I'm definitely glad I bought it!...read morehide

I have always loved mustangs, and my 2007 has many of the features of the 1960's car. It's classic style makes everyone take a second look. I have not had a 6 cylinder car in years and I am loving the power of this car! The ride is smooth and you have to watch out cause you will be doing 90 and not even know it! mine is a 2007 v6 convertible, it has the typical poor quality ford electrical system, build quality, and horrible herky jerky automatic transmission. looking forward to end of lease next spring, then it's fords baby!

Actually,I have the 2005 model--but it appears to be the same as the 2006 through 2008 models. I love this car (it's a v-6 automatic)--it handles great on the corners,great pickup,smooth ride,very sporty. I've driven the earlier models (1996 through 2004) and there is no comparison! The older v-6 models are like lawnmowers compared to the new Stang! Much more power--and the new ones are much roomier and more comfortable,in the front seats at least,and give a much smoother ride. The back seats are meant for kids (if I'm not mistaken,I believe even Ford points that out). Front seat is adjustable for height,etc. I've read some complaints about the interior--that it's cheap looking,plastic,whatever--but I find the interior to be great really--love the round,retro-look gauges--and the rest just helps keep the price down.I'm sure they COULD make a fancier interior--such as using different materials on the vents,etc....but guess which way the price would go?
