Pros

More interior than any other competitor especially SLE-1 w/9-passenger seating.More MPG than others

Mid row and third row seats would be nicer if they folded into floor like the caravan

Smoothest ride of any SUV due to the XL's longer wheelbase, An average driver can learn to accomodate parking with practice. Visibility is very good of the road including lane changes. However the passenger side rear piller next to third row is wider behind side window glass, why? This should have been done on drivers side instead to make lane change on passenger side better. GM should reconsider making one of these in a six-door model for maxium passenger amount along with even better ease of entry and exit, while still maintaining the SUV look.
The shift between 8 to 4 back to 8 cylinders is not noticable except for the increase in fuel milage, however why doesn't any company utilize more gearing in their transmissions to increase fuel milage. The 3.73 rearend is better than 4.1 but why not have a 3.23 for the XL version.
GM should make cupholders that hold A YUKON SIZE THIRST for all the Seats some of us carry 44 to 64oz. Mugs. There needs to be power ports for the second row seats in all models not just the upgrade models. The standard third row 2-passenger seat in base model has to be replaced by the 3-passenger seat for maxium comfort and to increase it to 9-passenger.
The bucket seat models up front with floor console makes the interior seem smaller than the 40/20/40 Split Bench however GM needs to make the center seat movable to match where it can slide forward or backward also.
Even though the YUKON/SUBURBAN is the largest, they still need to look into making the knee room more for the third row, because small kids become long legged teenagers eventually. This would make long trips even better. If GM had store in floor seating when the seats are up you would have storage there also when you are hauling passengers for a vacation. This could do away with the need to climb on top of vehicle to luggage rack....read morehide
