Purchased As New
For being the 2nd Honda in the garage(Civic was the first), I am very impressed with the Accord. Bought it in Aug. We had looked at the 4 cylinder and didn't care for it. There wasn't enough power and the seats were uncomfortable. The horsepower under the hood on this thing is unbelievable! When you need it, the horsepower is there. Takes off like a fighter jet! Gas mileage is awesome too. We had a Equinox before this and it gulped the gas.(200 miles or less on a tank) :( This ones averages about 350 a tank, and this is city driving. But this is not stomping on the accelerator all the time to enjoy the horsepower. As far a highway not too sure, its not been on a long road trip yet.
If you aren't sure whether to chose the 4 cylinder or the 6, go with the 6. You won't be disappointed. The difference b/w the two for city mileage is 2 gallons, not sure on hwy. You won't use all 6 cylinders all the time because of the variable cylinder management. Plus, if you need to get out of the way, you will have the power you need or crave! :)...read morehide

Replaced CV joint first 1500 miles, car had vibration afterwards. Replaced wheels and tires.
Lots of road noise. Gas mileage is not even close to the sticker advertisement. Was told at the dealership that, you can't go by that. That was the primary reason for buying this car. Traded in a civic lx, and would love to have it back.
I do not recommend Pensacola Honda service department, because they tried to pass on some kind of Bulls--t why the car had a vibration. I have been a mechanic for forty years. I will never have another Honda of any kind again....read morehide

If you want to prevent constant trips to the Chiropractor do not buy this car. I lease the EX-L and look forward to the end of my lease. The driver's seat is terribly designed. I use empty water bottles to fill the gap between the seat and the backrest. It sounds silly but it helps. After an hour drive my back is shot....read morehide

i got the car about 3 month. After two day, i found the wind noise at driver side door constantly (not wind turban). I took back to the dealer 4 time, they can't find the problem. Then after third month the A/C one side blow out cold, and other side blow out hot. (I set both temp at same).

Bought my Honda accord 4 months ago, overall pleased with the performance of the vehicle. Handles very nice on all road types. The biggest problem with the car is the terrible paint job I have the diamond pearl white. I am already looking at having to get front end repainted. The whole front end in four months is already covered with paint chips a couple have started to flake which should never happen. I have Honda review for warranty work now. Hondas have always been notorious for bad paint jobs. I was looking at some higher end cars when deciding on one. Trust me this is not a high end car if you want a Lexus or Acura and decide to settle for a Honda you will regret it....read morehide

Went over body with fine tooth comb - perfect finish. Solid feel. Bought over 08 TL and others in this class. The 3, 4, 6 clyinder mode is flawless - at 55 on the flat the eco lights up (economy) so mileage is great yet lots of power. Controls well placed. Dash is great and perfectly lighted day or night. Good sound system. Home Link garage door control system set up and worked on the first go!
Minor points - transmission bumps slightly on down shifts. Cup holders to deep so mugs with handles do not fit, a plus is the cup holder area does have cover. No mpg indicator.
Sorry Toyota - 31 years a customer. This Honda reminds me of how you used to be!...read morehide

I completely felt comforatble with this purchase---quality car for years, new styling, great value, beautiful interior, nice wood grain (EX-L). Until about 300 miles I felt an aweful lower back ache due to too much lumbar. The power lumbar is fully disengaged but due to the lumbar plate (connected to the headrest, see safty features) that protrudes into my lower back, kind of ruins the experience. If I discovered this during the road test I would have passed on the accord....read morehide

The new Accord is ok. It's much better than the Toyota Camry though. It is a minor improvement over the previous generation. The ride and acceleration are ok. However, its turning circle is tighter, and it's more agile than the previous generation. Fit and finish of the interior are good. Interior space is very good. The trunk could be a little bigger. Like many other Honda vehicles, there is a pronounce road noise....read morehide

I own this car EX V6 w/ leather. My first Honday. I find the seats very supportive and comfortable, driving position great, visibility great, etc. XM sound system is excellent and overall dash layout is very useable for driver and passenger. Fit and finish are very nice. The 30 mpg highway mileage comes from the variable cylinder control - 6/4/3. Under load with 3 cylinders firing there can be a very brief vibration but it's not a problem. The one thing I'd really like to fix/change is road = tire noise at highway speeds. This car has excellent Michellin tires but they sing too much for my taste....read morehide
