Very loud on rough roads but drowned out by raido, less power than expected

I have had this car roughly 3 months and absolutely adore it. The first time I came home with it, no joke 5 of my neighbors approached me to talk about it. The car's appearance sticks out tha much, needless to say I was thrilled. Alot of my satisfaction with this car's performance is probably because I had been driving a Rodeo exclusively the last 10 years. So I am not used to a vehicle handling this well on turns, acceleration, etc. I've gotten close to 32 mpg on recent road trips 400 miles. That's using cruise control, and after a full service of everything on the car. The only negative thing about this car to me is the lack of interior room in the back seat. It may as well just be a two seater IMO. However I'm 6-2 and need the leg room so there aren't many adults that will be able to squeeze behind me. But that's why the rodeo is parked in the garage, for those moments....read morehide

This car is a great and fun vehicle to ride. I have loved all the tiburon models starting from the 2000 model. This one is perhaps the best one yet. The interior has a futuristic look and feel. The exterior has a sporty Ferrari, Porsche design that causes head turns. And the fact that it is so fun to push this car to its limit is what probably makes my fuel consumption what it is. My brother often drives down to Pompano Beach to work and back to Miami and it always seems as if he saves more gas than I would driving to my local Burger King. This is a hot car and for around 20 grand, I think its totally worth the cash....read morehide

Alignment problems since day 1, 4 Cylinder engine under powered.

It's a very fun car to drive and it gets lots of attention.
I had alignment problems since day one when I took delivery of the brand new car from the dealer. The car pulls to the right all the time. I have owned this car 4 months and it's been to the dealer for alignment issues 3 times and I only have 2600 miles on the car so far!!!!
The 4 cylinder engine is underpowered as compared to my older VW Jetta. Better say, my 115HP Jetta accelerates faster than my 138HP Tiborun!...read morehide

Always wanted to own a Tiburon and now that I have one I don't regret the decision. I enjoy driving this car, plus it's easy on the pocket book (the warranty on new cars rocks!).

Best car I can conceive of for the cost. It tares up the road while being a quiet and smooth ride on the highway.

I have only had my new 2008 Hyundai Tiburon SE for about a week now, and I've driven it a lot. I haven't found any to complain about at all!! I LOVE this car!! It's fast and handles very well. I owned a 2001 Tiburon before my 2008, and this is a HUGE improvement. The body style is very sexy, and the interior ROCKS!! I got a great deal on this car as well, along with "Tires For Life".

Kinda loud for 170-180HP, RPMs get high in a short period of time...

I got a sick deal, out the door with the SE at 21,000.00 after random fees. If you're looking for a car around 20K that's going to give you your moneys worth, this is the one. It's fun to drive, but I feel like I have to shift too fast even durring normal driving. But it's still fun. I'm debating trading it in when the Genesis comes out. But it's still up in the air. Either way this car is amazing and I installed a custom In-dash GPS. Double-din Pioneer AVIC-Z3. It looks like it was suppose to be there the whole time. Hyundai really has come a long way in a short 10 years. I test drove a mustang and 350z. The 350z was a nicer ride but for 8 grand more it wasn't worth it. And the mustang was just not as nice as they use to be after the test drive....read morehide

I love my car. Its fun, its sporty, and it is unbelievable how much stuff you can fit into it. I drive a ton of miles with my business and that is why I bought this car since my Trailblazer was killing me in gas, before it $2. 00 + gallon. Now at $4.00 and going up by the day, I am really happy I bought this car. I would recommend this car and I am buying another one before it is discontinued and replaced by the Gemini 2010. I read the review from the guy about the bad roadside service he had. Guess I am just lucky never had a probem. I called them for a flat tire and they were there in less than 20mins. My dealer took care of any of my problems, all were minor problems. Find a good dealer, check out the service dept. first and you should be okay, make sure you fill out all servays since Hyndai is very strick with there dealers....read morehide

I owned a 2003 Tiberon GT and loved that car. Sold on E-Bay for only 2,000,00 less original price. (only 9000 miles and never in rain or snow and driven only in summer, New Tibe has new features such as auto air , New blue dash light and styling and better exhaust. This car can be made to run much better with only chip upgrade. May also buy a 2009 Genesis coupe when it arrives but will be a bigger car with 300= h.p....read morehide

Lots of noise in trunk like someone is banging to get out!

At first look you say Wow! looks like a porshe gt or sleak 455 gt or something exotic.Then you find out on the 6speed v6 on highway or
city you can not stay in one gear with out it bucking to shift.Way too short running gears at any speed! you almost have to race the rpm's just to drive . I would say get a small 4 cyl auto for this type of car and keep it a little ugly like other year modols.I I traded out 3 months later for new ford Fusion.A little less power alot more car and ride....read morehide
