Comfort and space for a midsize truck, plenty of power, reliable 4wd system

the drive train sits low and has trouble clearing obsticles offroad

I have a 2007 model with 20k miles. I bought this truck in order to fit my wife and child seat and safely drive in the snow. I also bought it to do some minor offroading to go hunting or fishing. The 4wd system is awesome and the locker works great, my only complaint is the cross member that goes across the center sits way to low and always hangs up on stuff. I am not into huge lifted trucks but with this problem I am being forced to look into lifting it.
For snow, I put on slightly wider tires and with the locker I rarely have to put the truck in 4wd, if you start to slide or fish tail the back end will go where ever the front tires are pointed.
I really cant say enough about this truck, for the price I paid, roughly 23k, and the quality of product I got you, cannot beat this truck.
