I've owned just about every sports car known to man from 9 Corvettes, 3 Nissan Z cars, two Porsches, a Ferrari and several American made muscle cars but now being in my mid-50's, I decided that it was time to find something more civilized. Doing about 3 months of research, looking at awd cars like the Mercedes 4matic, Audi, BMW, Volvo, Acura and Infinity, I happened on a review of the Jaguar X type. I decided to go test drive one, thinking that it would be a waste of time but was I ever surprised! The car handled well, was well appointed and my motorhead was very pleased with the responsiveness of the 3.0 engine. I ended up with the car, have 30k miles on it now and am happy with the purchase. The only thing that I have to complain about is road noise seems to be higher than it should for a car like this but for $35k, I can live with it. The Continental tires could also be contributing. Overall, quite pleased.
