I loved my new C class when I first got it, had nothing bad to say, enjoyed he ride and look. But after a few short months that changed. Since I got the car, I have had the following parts replaced: side view mirrors, front differential, transmission, and the antenna. My car has been in the shop 8 times, and is actually in the shop as I write this. I have also had continuous problems with the parking break light coming on, even when I am driving. Have no complaints with the dealer, they are nice, very helpful, will pick up and drop off car, or give a comparable loaner. The car is horrible, I think I may have received a lemon....read morehide

This car is a great machine!!!! Great MPG, about 26-28 in Highway. Great response and performance. Mine is charcoal, with Premium 2, Panorama Roof and AMG Wheels. Amazing look in street, almost everybody will look at you in this car. I just left the Multimedia Package because of the cost (Aprox. $4,000 more). Since this is a C-350 the total cost with all those options will be nearly $60,00 here in Puerto Rico. In fact, Multimedia is not as necessary as panorama and P2 for me. Brakes squeak, accelerates when braking, parking brake turns on randomly

Bought this car in Sept 08 and since then we've been having so many issues with our brakes, parking brake light turning on when the parking brake isn't being used. Even when we are driving it turns on! The engine turned off by iteself once, when we parking. We are upset and disappointed in the lack of care and when we bring our car in to get it repaired. I think we bought a lemon. Should have gone with the BMW. At least you get 3 years of maintenance....read morehide

I have owned this car for 2 months and love it! I had the old version and this is a BIG step up from the old C class. It feels roomier and rides great. I know others have not had good gas mileage, but I think it is great. I would recomment this car -

Cruise control not intuative

I've owned my C300 Sport (Irridium Silver) for four months now, and it's one of the best cars I've ever driven at any price. I own a hybrid as well, and I suspect I'm a better driver because of it, and that is why my mileage is so good (you can get 30 mpg on long trips) on the C300.

As mentioned in other reviews, the cruise control lever is too close to the turn signal indicator, not intuative, and should be on the steering wheel, but that's a minor beef overall.

The car looks like a million, drives like a dream, the sound system is 1st rate, and the navigation controls are easy to understand and use.

If Mercedes keeps building them like this, I'll keep buying....read morehide

THIS CAR DRIVES LIKE A HIGH PROFILE SPORTS CAR. GREAT HORSE POWER, AND CORNERS BETTER THAN ANY CAR I HAVE EVER DRIVEN.

Tysinger mercedes-benz (Hampton, Va) gives you a loaner car comparable (in contract) to the mercedes-benz you bought when you buy a new benz. Took car in for 1000 mile service and got a hyundai. We were told it was comparable to mercedes. Have contract and this problem is still unresolved. Only want what I paid for....read morehide

Rock solid feel indicative of a Mercedes, bigger/better/more balanced than previous models.

Cons

Standard audio system of 100 watts borders on the absurd; no coin/sun glass holder; manual lumbar.

Feels/looks like a smaller S-Series Sedan. Terrific overall performance & acceptable gas mileage. No better car/value in the mid $30,000 range.

Fuel economy is better if you don't drive hard. 60 MPH can deliver 30 mpg

Could use more wood trim inside. Not a plush as my 528i

Overall a very good value. I moved to Benz after three BMW's, which had a lot of electrical problems. MBZ isn't the ultimate driving machine, but it was a great replacement and has the kind of looks and style that are to be expected from a Benz.
