Purchased As New
Bought mine 10/07 and am coming up on two years. Ordered all options except for 2nd moon roof. Love the performance and the street looks I receive. Not had any issues, except scraping bottom of front bumper (low clearance). 4-matic works for me. Would definitely recommend.

I loved my new C class when I first got it, had nothing bad to say, enjoyed he ride and look. But after a few short months that changed. Since I got the car, I have had the following parts replaced: side view mirrors, front differential, transmission, and the antenna. My car has been in the shop 8 times, and is actually in the shop as I write this. I have also had continuous problems with the parking break light coming on, even when I am driving. Have no complaints with the dealer, they are nice, very helpful, will pick up and drop off car, or give a comparable loaner. The car is horrible, I think I may have received a lemon....read morehide

I have owned this car for 2 months and love it! I had the old version and this is a BIG step up from the old C class. It feels roomier and rides great. I know others have not had good gas mileage, but I think it is great. I would recomment this car -

I've owned my C300 Sport (Irridium Silver) for four months now, and it's one of the best cars I've ever driven at any price. I own a hybrid as well, and I suspect I'm a better driver because of it, and that is why my mileage is so good (you can get 30 mpg on long trips) on the C300.
As mentioned in other reviews, the cruise control lever is too close to the turn signal indicator, not intuative, and should be on the steering wheel, but that's a minor beef overall.
The car looks like a million, drives like a dream, the sound system is 1st rate, and the navigation controls are easy to understand and use.
If Mercedes keeps building them like this, I'll keep buying....read morehide

THIS CAR DRIVES LIKE A HIGH PROFILE SPORTS CAR. GREAT HORSE POWER, AND CORNERS BETTER THAN ANY CAR I HAVE EVER DRIVEN.

I purchased a C300 Sport and absolutely love the car. The only things lacking are - acceleration not in line with competition, no memory seats (2009 model has it though), no start/stop button, no rear view camera. But it is a solid car and in my opinion, there is not a better looking car on the market....read morehide

Overall, I am extremely happy with my C300 Sport 4 Matic. If there is one thing that I would like included is that there should be a memory seat setting. The car performs well and you can move out when you need that extra punch power. I would also have an Auto-Start System.

Dreamt of owning a Merc all the time and when it was time to buy a new car couldnt think of anything else than the C300 with the dazzling three point star right on the grill... performance wise its the best car in its class...just drove about 600 miles over the weekend and the fuel economy touched an unbelievable 30 and stayed there... cannot ask for more especially when the gas prices are shooting up... the ride is comfortable too and its true that its not a racing car so no point in pushing it to the hilt and then complaining abt it... opted for 6 DVD changer multimedia system and love it everytime it slides open...Harmon Kardon speakers sound like heaven... though I know that its one of the safety feature but it would have had been fun if there was a way to playback videos on the multimedia system on the drive......read morehide

I took delivery on this car in February. It is a 6sp. 300C Sport with 18" AMG Wheels. The Acura TSX had a nice 6sp. but the 300C 6sp is the nicest 6sp I have driven. The performance is better than I expected--seems much quicker the the 300C with auto. I buy a new car every 2 years. I have owned a Nissan Maxima, an Infinity I-30, 2 BMW 530s and an Acura TSX. This car handles better than most of these cars. It is the equal of the 530s. I have taken 1 trip and averaged 32mpg (75mph) and I have never gotten less than 25mpg around town (I do drive most of my miles on the freeway). I considered the Lexus 350 IS but the front seat was not nearly as comfortable, no 6 speed available and there was more road noise. If this car continues to be trouble free it may be the most satisfying car I have owned. The word that best describes it is "Sweet"....read morehide
