I love my MINI Clubman! It has all the fun and sporty feel of a regular mini but has the third door and a little bit bigger cargo space. It works not only for me but my son as well. I get asked about it all the time and I would tell anyone to get a MINI. The company has the best customer service and SOOOOOO many options and way to build your own car. It is fabulous!!!!!!...read morehide

We've had our Clubman since Sep 08 and love it! We pretty much have the base model- only options are front fog lights, heated mirrors and stability control. On the autobahn we have no problem cruising at the Clubman's top speed of 110 mph. It's fun to drive, handles well and gets great mileage on the highway and around town. We average about 31 mpg with mostly city driving. The cargo area is more than sufficient to hold our groceries and the seats fold down to accommodate larger cargo when needed. The back seat is as roomy as many other small cars, although it would be a little cramped for large adults on a long trip We plan to buy another Clubman before we return to the U.S. next year....read morehide

I have owned my Mini Cooper S Clubman for about 6 weeks and already have 2500 miles on it. Overall I am very pleased with the car and haven't had any problems. It handles very well and it has plenty of power. On a 70 mile round trip from the suburbs to downtown Houston and back I average around 38 MPG without really trying. You can do better than that if you work at it. The car looks great and I ofter have people commenting on how much they love the car which has never happened before with any vehicle I have owned. I have the limited slip differential which I would suggest should be mandatory on any S version Mini as the torque steer can be an issue. I have the sport package as well and the suspension is firm but not too rough. I recently took the car on a 1000 mile road trip and it was very comfortable for highway driving. The SPORT button is great because you can choose between driving conservatively for maximum economy or you can push the button and get full power with less assist to the steering. I used to have a BMW 540 and this car is probably more fun to drive and just as comfortable....read morehide

Be sure to get the steering with audio controls. Otherwise the controls are awkward when driving.

I HAVE A 2006. I average between 35-40 mpg. I have had more people stop me to talk about my car , One very tall gentleman actually asked me if he good sit behind the wheel to see how much leg room the car has. He was amazed.

A car that gets good gas mileage that drives good and is not so slow that you risk an accident just driving it. Comfortable, unique, great maintenance and warranty programs. Mini is the only car that gets good gas mileage that is worth owning. It is actually fun to drive unlike most gas savers.

This will be the first full week we have had the ClumanS. Premium and Comfort Packages. Should have got the electric control seats, but there agan, something else to go wrong. Lever for the seat incline is a bit touchy to find, but it has only been two days since we have had it.
Drove up some windy roads last night and therr appears to be a substantial difference between standard and sport modes, especially with shifting.
Paddle shifting is ok unless you are turning, then it is cumbersome. Seems like the speed shift on shift lever shoul either be reversed or made to shft sis-to-side rather than up and back. Guess I am used to a Charger SRT8....read morehide

The other complaint is the sound system. The clubman six speaker hi-fi is the pits. The exterior is charcoal gray with a black roof (totally looks like a hearse, especially with double doors) custom red/black interior and every conceivable option. I am so annoyed with this car that the best I could hope for is someone to rear-end me and total out this car so I can get something else. I so want back my old mini......read morehide

Have for 3 weeks. Getting around 30-31 mpg in NYC traffic/highway. Two major complaints with this car; The air conditioner is inadequate to cool it down. I've had it to dealer twice and they have informed me that this is as good as it gets. I have it down on "low" (

I've had my Clubman S for a week now and have no complaints. The only options if got with mine were the 17" wheels/as tires, HiFi Sound, Rear fog light, Metallic paint and cruise control. Cost $26,200 and has everything one needs. The leatherette fools most people thinking it is leather, it looks and feels that good. The ride is very firm, but has no rattles and handles like it is on rails. I can't think anyone would ever need the Sport Suspension option ($500) so be sure to skip that one. Got 37.1 mpg on the first tank and looks like it might improve on the second. Pulls well in any gear from 1,000 rpm, even in 6th. Everybody that sees the car really likes it and I think it looks better than the standard sized Mini....read morehide
