I have had my car for 14 mos - I have the top of the line everything in it - I love it to pieces - however - it has been back to the dealership 3 times for the top - the tire light is always on - my windows have had issues and parts have been replaced - It has 8000 miles on it - I take it in for all it's scheduled mainten. wk - so it's not anything due to neglect - It has horrible blind spots worse then any conv I have had prior - other then that - I love the stereo - the look - the style - it's the first car that I have purchased that I still love after 14 mos - I just cannot stand the constant issues - even the rental cars that were the same year, make, model as mine have all had the same issues I have had -...read morehide

This has been my dream car since I turned 16 and I Finally broke down and bought it. I wasn't to fond of the model years from 01-05 and was EXSTATIC when they brought the spyder back in the new body style. The first test drive I took sold me on it! IT is the best value for the money... Everyone at work loves it and it is a lot more roomie than I had expected. I'm pretty short (5'1") so the backseat does have a bit more room for a "normal" person. I love the looks I get when I'm driving around....I love love love driving it. It handles great and gets decent gas mileage. too bad Summer's over. I love riding with the top down....read morehide

Bought the car in Daytona Beach and drove it home to Pittsburgh and the gas mileage was awesome, 25 miles per gallon which is great for a sports car....handled very well on the road....Tons of compliments especially the color - Rave Red!!!! LOVE MY SPYDER GT!!!!

Great warranty, got free oil changes and car washes for life, amazed at how even guys my dad's age swoon over this car. I believe the sharpest car on the market, PERIOD. Rides like a dream. Blind spots were a little hard to get use to. Seat belt scratches door interior very easy.

This is not my first new car, but so far it is my favorite. It is my first convertible and the outside noise is so much more audible. The inside door molding is very plastic and the seat belt metals have scratched both interior doors. I have used every kind of product I know of the buff out the scratches and nothing has worked so far. The SVC (Speed Volume Control) on the radio does not work for me. I have had it put in the shop twice and they even replaced the radio, but still it does not work. I can live without it I guess. I love the free oil changes for life of the car.
The car drives wonderfully and it is FAST. I have taken it out to the middle of n where a couple of times just to experience that get up and go that it definately has. The interior is very roomy and I have actually had two children in the the back seat. My husband is large and he fits in the front seat pretty well, and having the convertible instead of the coupe give you about 3 to 4 inches more of head room. This is a very good point for large or tall people. I love the color, Sunset Pearlessent. But I call it burnt orange, which is a very popular color here in Texas longhorn country. Great car! I have the premium package for the GT and I love it!

All convertibles have blind spots and that is something a young driver needs to take into consideration. I almost purchased a Saturn Sky and I am glad to have purchased the Spyder instead. I have had Mitsubishi Syders for over 10 years (3 different models) and this is my favorite so far! My only concern with this vehicle is that if I don't use premium gas I don't get very good gas mileage. I highly recommend this car!...read morehide

I have been looking for a fun, GREAT, sports car for about six months. I decided on the Spyder and LOVE IT! Performance is great and it is enjoyable to drive. I chose the Sunset Pearlesence with Terra Cotta interior and think it is beautiful. Perfect for a 58 year old young lady.

It's a great car to drive in the city day-to-day or to take on a long trips. I am 6'2, 230 and fit in it with ease. Back seat is small and at my size no one is going to sit behind me, however a smaller person can sit behind the passanger. I have to be careful not to go too fast, this car really has power.
