Its' ph in her cc is so good and the fuel usage is cool also I hope I could have one , but here in egypt I can't get it with 33.700$ becose of the tax .I rent it just for driving Mitsubishi Lancer 2008 EX even I've Lancer 1998 I love it also but anyway if u asked me its just u can drive Mitsubishi in Egypt . Its' Hight , Handling , Apperance , Options , inside view , sound , colors , monitors (I think I'll cry :) ) and the shafting make Lancer 2008 is the most powerful car in its' level in cc and price .

Before I took this rally red LEx GT, I was planning to buy a '08 corolla but when I took a visit to 1 of the MMC showroom, this baby with a big spoiler took my heart away. I bought my 2008 LEx seven months ago and still the performance is still superb (or going better as engine is breaking). I can cruise as far as 400+ kms. in one full tank (about 50 liters) so the Ave. Fuel Cons is 80+/lit.. not that bad for a car running in a very hot country where A/C is a must. Break is very reliable, it was proven to me several critical times. Sound?? Wallahhh! uncomparable! A friend once asked me if sound system are customized and was amazed when I said it is the stock one. All aspects are excellent except for a roaring engine especially during acceleration.

i have had the Lancer for 6 months now and i am very pleased with the overall ownership experience. The car has head turning looks. it attracts attention wherever i take it and looks fast. the lines are beautifully accentuated and the red GTS simply is irresistable.
The engine pulls strongly but there is a noticable loss of power with the AC on. The first gear is rather short but nevertheless power delivery is broad ranged in the higher gears and frequent gear shifting(in the manual) is not needed. The transmission is solid and gear changes happen with a soft thud which is perfect. i have rarely had a missed gears or clashing. brakes are well balanced and stop uniformly. braking actually is very good on this car, the brakes and factory tires are good to stop on a dime. suspension on the GTS is hard but i like it this way so no complaints. The seats can be hard for some people. but it gives good side support while cornering. some more foam in the lumbar region might help.
An annoyance is the chime that goes off when i open the door. if i want to keep the door open while cleaning or vaccum i cant listen to the music without feeling like a fire truck.
over all the frowing and mean looking Mitsu lancer is value for money and hopefully will prove to be reliable for many years to come since i plan on driving this car till the wheels come off!!

Traded down for one of these from an Outlander when gas prices went up. Was a bit diappointed with losing my SUV at first, but this car has been a welcome surprise. Gas mileage is excellent and has even exceeded my expectations with 34 mpg in the right conditions on the freeway. I have the Sun and Sound pack which has made this car a blast to drive. It looks great too. My only complaints would be the power on acceleration (it takes a bit longer than my Outlander to get up to speed when getting on the freeway) and the A/C. The A/C takes forever to get cold sometimes, unlike other Mitsu cars I have had. Overall, I love this car. I use to own an older Lancer back in 2002, and there is no comparison.

I had a 2006 Saturn ION RedLine {supercharged} and it was literally "Christines'" younger sister. in 1yr 10months I had it back to the dealership 17times. I took a loss to buy this Lancer GTS, but other than missing the 205hp the RedLine had I don't miss it at all. The Lancer GTS is a SUPERB car. My only 2 fixes would be 1 slightly more HP, and 2 quieter engine {too much chatter}.

i drive lancer Es. Cvt 2.engine. 152 hr
the car is nice.. but what i felt is its very light on speeds over 120 km. i feel like the car is going so light:(((
and also i think because of CVT.. acceleration is not so fast. as i thought.. for example i had lancer 1998.. and i feel it goes from 0 to 100 in less time than the my new ES..
please if someone thinks iam wrong just corret me

I went to a Mitsubishi dealer to check out the Lancer, which is the most fuel efficient car in their line-up and their least expensive one at that. I went to Toyota to buy the Yaris, which is the same price as this Lancer with the same options, but the Yaris was definitely a smaller car and really had no power, like the Lancer. Aside from that, the Mitsubishi company gives 10 years and a 100,000 mile warranty, which Toyota can only afford 5 years/60,000 miles of powertrain warranty! The Lancer is a better buy than the Yaris and better looking.

i have one lancer 2004 but when i show ES 2008 i was suprice they change everything int. and ext. .. i brought 4 month ago.
it's really owesome looking car and steering is soo smooth. plesunt to drive.
Milage is also not bad it's like 28-29 hgy.
Let's talk about feature .. it's fullyloaded car with Latest GPS with Bluetooth and key less entry. nice stearing look like Acura.

i really fall in love with my baby lancer ES.

when u see the price it's like arround 20K ...
soo what more copuld you ask for in 20K..

i have 2 lancer 2004 and 2006 both are like my kid .....

Mitsubishi has only problem that they never spend money behind add. soo they sell less but cars are always good.

I wanted this car as soon as I saw it on the lot. It's aggressive looks paired with decent fuel economy. The fuel economy hasn't really lived up to my expectations but that might because we have a hybrid civic that gets about 45 to a gallon. This car is great though, the interior isn't extravagent, but its nice. I opted for the sun and sound package, the 650 watt Rockford Fosgate soundsystem. It it well worth it. The bass hits hard, and sound quality is amazing. I really like this car.
