I left car running at Disney with car locked, so quiet did not notice.

Best car i have ever owned period. comfort, styling, vision, mileage, paint@trim, handeling, went to dinner the other night, and the man next to me asked me how i liked my LEXUS. Thank you enginers for producing more than I expectd.

Very comfortable seats, smooth and quiet ride, ultra-refined engine

All season Continental Tires (I prefer Toyo Touring tires)

I'm really happy with my purchase so far. Car is 3 weeks old and about 500 miles on it. What sold me is the fact this is the last year of production (5th) for this generation of Maxima's. I'm not keen on buying cars in the have been recently been introduced (AKA '08 Honda Accord). True, the CVT transmission is new to this car. But I drove this very car 3 times before making the purchase. The CVT tranny gets some getting used to at first. It wasn't until I spent some time back in my '97 Bonneville, (4 spd automatic) that I understood and appreciated the feel of the CVT. This drive train combo (3.5L V6/CVT), when driven at a normal -adult like manner is just smooth as can be. This is not a 4DSC like past Maxima's, so don't expect it to drive like one....read morehide

Great performance, many standard equipment, poor man's infiniti :)

Cons

Turning radius, price, does not run well on 87 Gas, low resale value.

Overall Maxima is a good car, a little pricy for it's category.
The cvt transmission is impressive, the car is powerful and responsive.

turning radius is not so great, interior is well crafted, but you'll get more features for that price from Honda or Toyota.

Nissan recommend premium gas, and you'll have to use it cause Maxima is not 87 grade friendly....read morehide

is a performance vehicle expect some expenses but it is worth it and cheaper than Ferrari

The fact that Nissan's were not known before makes them now the top cars of preferences sincebefore they were not notice due to the lack of style performance always been there.

Good fuel economy. Great ride very quiet. What sold me was the transmission and the quiet ride.

The only fault I find with this car is it's bad turning radius. They should do something to correct

I would recommend this car to anyone. It's fun to drive comfortable, and very sporty.

This is my 3rd maxima, 1st was 99 SE blk on blk manual, 03 blk on blk 6spd, and now 08 blk on blk auto, 03 was totaled. I sure do miss that car, got T-boned by another car. Love this car, great sense of speed. Wish they would have still left the manuals but hey its still a nice car and lovin every minute of it....read morehide

The power and handling are awesome. I feel the confidence when I press down on the gas paddle.

I have a 2007 Maxima SE, Black/Black leather interior. Its just so much fun to drive. I purchased it back in May. I was going back and forth about buying this car or Cadillac CTS, BMW 5 Series or Chrysler 300C. Let me tell you I very happy that I got my Maxima. This car is a well equipped rocket. Acceleration, highway passing, and braking are excellent.

The CVT transmission is the smoothest and most responsive I've ever driven. Always powerful on demand.
