Purchased As New
I got this car as a graduation present from my mom and I love this car. Only thing I don't like is that, since I have a lead foot, it doesn't accelerate as fast as I want it to. Otherwise it is a great car, just wish the dealership it was bought from wasn't stupid when maintaining it. (Over-inflated tires over Max PSI, put on wrong wiper blades(hit each other), and scratched my hub-caps like no other when rotating tires) Truthfully, I didn't like how it looked at first but I can't imagine driving any other car. Definitely would buy another Nissan Versa....read morehide

Purchased As New
A decent, solid buy for anyone who simply wishes not to throw money away on a more expensive means of transportation.
Comfortable for all passengers, and contains many standard features that you would normally expect to pay extra for.
Had a small problem with starter at the beginning but it was quickly resolved. Small problems with new autos are common. I have had issues popup on vehicles costing 4x more than the Versa.
Would say the car is low-cost and not cheap. Cheap would indicate low quality, this car is definitely not that....read morehide

A very comfortable, practical, and fuel efficient little car that won't bankrupt you. Excellent transportation, comfortable front and rear seating and a pleasure to drive. Nice trunk, combined with fold-down rear seats for temporary storage of extra long cargo. Tough to beat this little car for value....read morehide

Just bought this car, and am already disappointed and would like to return it. The hatchback has fold down back seats, the sedan does NOT, which is VERY inconvient. There is no way to just POP open the trunk. I was not thinking, I just assumed that all small cars had these features. DO NOT get the beige interior!!!! Stains and soils, even with the special protection....read morehide

I rented this vehicle for two weeks and drove over 3,000 miles. Many different kinds of driving conditions including freeways and narrow gravel roads. From blistering 110 degree desert heat to cool, damp 9,000 foot mountain passes. Cannot compare with other brands in the category but would be very surprised if a better value could be found based upon published purchase prices.
If I needed a vehicle of this size and type I wouldn't hesitate to purchase but would prefer the hatchback model for versatility....read morehide

I purchased a 2007 Nissan Versa in May of 2007. No issues until about 2 weeks ago when the car acted like it did not want to start. Took car to dealership and was told what the problem was even before they looked at it; serviceman stated "I'm surprised they haven't put out a recall on this because we have replaced quite a few lately." Part had to be ordered and was instructed that it would be safe to drive car home; just let the car sit a little while after turning key over before trying to crank it. Luckily the car is still under warranty. Thinking about trading it in though. I own a newer model pathfinder with 86,000 miles and have had no problems with it as of yet; so I believe in the quality of the Nissan made vehicles. Maybe they need to go back to the drawing board on this one. Will keep you updated on repairs....read morehide

My son got one of these cars for his graduation. I drove it a couple of times on trips to save on gas. I fell in love with the way the car handles and the mpg. With the gas going up and up I traded down from a full sized car to the Versa. The Versa is more comfortable and I love the savings at the gas pump!...read morehide

Its a reasonably priced car. Seats are OK comfort-wise - no lumbar adjustment. The AC started failing at 15,000 miles, and it took the dealer 4 tries to solve the problem.
