I bought this new; it's my fourth Saturn and I love it. I got the monsoon stereo system which I highly recommend. Good system for the money. I got a red car with black leather interior. I should have gotten the redline, but there wasn't one available in my state at the time. Very good gas mileage considering how fast I drive it....read morehide

Definitely impractical but losts of FUN and lots of punch with 260HP and 260 torque. If you had ever told me I would own a Saturn - I would have thought you completely crazy. But after doing all the research in cars of it's class -nothing comes close to the full package. Got my Sky in June and every drive feels like the first one, this car is way too much fun! The performance is amazing...speed, handling all make me want to take the long way.

I'm 6'2" so this is much better with the top down, but that's minor. Actually, it's like a different car depending on the top up or down, so even that's fun!...read morehide

I recently purchased a red line and it is so much fun to drive. Small, sporty, great fuel economy, and a boatload of power. What more can you ask for?

Be prepared to make expected sacrifices when you buy this car similar to any sports car: Little trunk space and not a functionally ergonomic vehicle.

OUR 2008 SATURN SKY’S NAME IS “LITTLE RED” AND SHE’S A HOT LITTLE ROADSTER. EVERY TIME WE ARE IN IT, WE GET NODS & STARES. PEOPLE HAVE ACTUALLY SAID, “ WOW, WHAT A COOL CAR!” WHAT KIND IS IT? TRYING TO FIT THINGS IN THE TRUNK IS HALF THE FUN OF OWNING THIS SMALL CAR. IT’S LIKE BEING IN COLLEGE AGAIN, TOOLING AROUND TOWN & TAKING CORNERS WHILE ACCELERATING!!! IT’S AN AWESOME RIDE! I love this car as my daily driver. Traded my corvette for it so I'm down on power but still crusin in style.

It is a little awkward to get into with the top up if you are close to 6 ft tall

Very comfortable to drive, very responsive steering. My first impressions of the car were that it was a much smoother ride than I was expecting and that there was very little road noise for a car of this type. My wife drives this car to work daily and is averaging 24 mpg with three quarters of her commute being stop and go traffic. Out on the highway it gets 30 mpg. We took a 620 mile road trip and averaged 28mpg with th top down.
It will go from 60 to 100 in a heartbeat. acceleration is smooth and handeling is great. All of this and good looks too....read morehide

I had this car for exactly 1 year (ordered it 4 months before the model came out (08 year). For the first month, every person that saw my car would come over and want to talk about it. I even had people come out of stores and run across parking lots to see what it was. Though this was fun, the ownership part wasn't worth it.

In 1 year, the interior squeeking was way to much to handle. The top design was a pain in the butt, and required getting in and out of the car 2 times to put the top up. Very annoying when you just want to run inside for a few hours. The car has ZERO room, and I should have paid attention when the dealer couldn't find a place to put the owner's manual when I drove it off the showroom. I could barely put a small (the length of a shoe box) gym bag in the trunk. I live in Kansas, and I was only able to have the top down for 2 months. It was either too hot, raining, too cold or just not worth it.

It is a WONDERFUL 3rd car or rental, but certainly not worth owning to be a primary car....read morehide

numerous problems soon after buying car

the first night we had it we drove it on rainy/wet roads and several warning lights came on. two days later the round chrome things where the top extensions go into fell off. as a mechanic i know why the wet roads cause the warning lights to come on but it is very frustrating. all in all i have no regrets in buying the car, and im sure the dealership will fix the problems because they were AMAZING. some complain about rough ride, trunkspace, or blindspots...but you dont buy a two seater roadster for those now do you?...read morehide
