This car is very fun to drive and hugs the corners like a champ. Intelligent mode isn't quite as fun to drive in but once you enter S# mode its a joy ride. Overall, the car is a great, sporty car with more room and luxury than the WRX.

My first Subaru was a '95 Legacy Wagon. Long story short, that vehicle put this legacy on the top of my list and I have no regrets after buying it. It's got a slick exterior and drives like its on rails. Gas mileage is better than EPA stated, especially in the manual. Both the Auto and the manual have good pickup and the manual still pulls in 5th gear going 80mph. Standard features are excellent. Compared to comparably priced accord/camry, you actually get more. Its a bit smaller than camry and accord, but you'll appreciate how well proportioned it is. Overall, excellent vehicle, highly recomended!...read morehide

I've been looking at Subie's for awhile and liked the specB but am more of a fan of auto trans. Then, the 3.0R came out and after I test drove it, was sold! It corners nice and gets lots of looks from people - everybody says "what's that?" and I have to explain to them that yes, Subaru does make other vehicles than the WRK and Outback. The trunk is ginormous and, as a snowboarder, could easily swallow a couples' gear without perhaps even having to crack open the pass-through in the backseat. The AC blows super cold and having dual climates is nice. Unfortunately, I'm still in the "break-in" period for the first 1K miles and therefore have not yet been able to fully use the Sport Sharp mode. Add-ons purchased were the all weather mats, Momo shift knob (way better than the standard), spoiler, mud guards, and sunroof deflector. Have already had the windows tinted and this thing looks mean. Has an aggressive stance and people love the rims on it. If you are considering this car, don't wait. Also, check on Legacy chat boards as there are ways to join organizations and gain access to invoice minus 2% pricing. Good luck!...read morehide

I bought this car over the 2007 VW Jetta. This car has lived up to all my expectations so far. The car handles great is fun to drive and good on fuel. I have put 3500 miles on this car in 3 weeks of ownership. The stero is loud and clear, power windows, power mirrors, power driver seat and sun roof are a real plus. I went to the dealership looking for a deal on the 07 but could not find the color I wanted. The dealer offered me the 08 in the silver color that I wanted for the same price as the 07 so I took it. I have since added a GPS from Walmart for only $300 so I would suggest not spending the extra 3k on the one that comes built into the car. Another nice feature is the MP3 jack in the center cosole....read morehide
