I purchased my 2008 toyota camry xle about 6 months ago. At first I though it was a great car. But after riding for about 3 or 4 days, I noticed plastic-squeaking kind of noise whenever I touch something at the dashboard. Even when I try to adjust my a/c, it would make this annoying noise. Well this is actually understandable. But the transmission is terribly set. Whenever I try to accelerate to get onto the freeway, it wouldn't let me get to the speed I wanted in time, so it is almost dangerous to try to get onto the freeway.

The fuel economy is OK. I get about 25mpg, city and highway combined. But not really good considering that it doesn't even have that much power.

I'm fixing to sell this to a used car dealership soon and buy another sedan this size. I found Honda Accord to be much better, and surprisingly, Hyundai Sonata was also a considerable car. If you are looking into buying this, think again. I recommend Accord and Sonata over this overpriced car.
