Purchased As New
Had it for a year now and no regrets.
Great in the snow too. But an AWD would have been better.
Does about 19-20 mpg mixed.

My fourth and last toyota, transmision issues make it almost unsafe to merge on the freeway, poor fuel economy, cheap plastics, and electrical problems.Seems thel lost their edge in reliability and build quality which are the only reasons to buy bland toyotas to begin with.Sad to see a good company going bad.A co-worker is very happy with his new chevy malibu eaven after 30,000 miles,so for the first time in years i will be looking to buy american again....read morehide

DO NOT RECOMMEND, Wish I'd bought a Chevy Malibu didnt see it till I bought this piece of junk. Had to come in twice already for recalls. Trasmission seems like there somthing wrong with it, just one more time in the shop. After friend got Malibu and rubbed it in my face about how much better it is but after I seen it I have buyers remorse....read morehide

I was an advent SUV driver- Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep only. As gas continued to rise, and my Luxury Jeep aged it was time for me to fet new transportation. I wanted the same luxury or better. The new car had to have proven longevity, good fuel economy, leather seats, sunroof, and more. I wanted a car that would definitely have longevity and I have all of that and more in the Camry at a very reasonable price. I truly love this car. I've tested the Acura TL which was a very classy ride, I've also test driven the BMW 530. The Camry's ride and interior were the same if not better. I wanted as much luxury, style, space, and class as I could get for the money. And The Camry is indeed that vehicle....read morehide

We just leased the Camry XLE w/6 cylinder engine and 6-speed transmission, and we love the car. Never tought I'd say this about a camry. If you're complaining about response and thrill, then you need this model.
I took it for a ride and tried out the 6-speed manual sport shifter. WOW! This car moves!
Anyway, enough about performance. Everything else works well. The ride is smooth and quiet. The interior layout is well done.
Well done Toyota!...read morehide

I can't believe how poorly people have rated this car. First off the hard seat issue...mine are fine...I'm assuming the hard seat complainers have hemorrhoids?! Second, pay close attention to the despicable grammar from the reviews...if you can't spell, than don't bother leaving a review, you are only embarrassing yourselves.
Now on the car...its great. I'm in love with the V6. The leather seats are great. The bluetooth system is lackluster, but it gets the job done. The wood grain adds a nice touch. I live in a very congested area on Long Island, NY and I'm very impressed with the acceleration of this car. On the Long Island Expressway, I'll end up driving between 80-90 mph without realizing it because it is a smooth, comfortable ride. I'm at 4k miles and nothing has gone wrong. The transmission shifts nicely. The stereo is clear and loud. I sold my '05 Prius for this car and I couldn't be happier. This price tag was a little hefty, but you get what you pay for....read morehide

No problems so far. I get 31 mpg on the highway, and about 22-24 mpg in town. I see a lot of bad reviews about the transmission, but I've seen no problems; very smooth (6-speed). Great acceleration - I had also test driven the 4cyl model which had pathetic performance; GET THE V6 - it's a huge difference! I've driven it 2000 miles so far and love it....read morehide

Still have my 1997 Camry at 140,000 miles. I compared the 08 Camry to the Accord, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Maxima, and Fords. To be honest, I bought the Toyota for looks and its namesake. I am a little dissapointed in overall Toyota quality compared to previous models but this car is still nice. Folks need to remember that the Camry is a car for folks that want reliability, comfort, gas mileage, and a little power. If you want performance, buy a performance car. The same goes for plush comfort and sexy style...there are plenty of high end vehicles out there....read morehide

I have it for 1,5 years, dashboard was replaced after 3 days of use, than they replaced the zipper for driver door and after that they did weels alighnment. Do not trust toypta's claim about fuel consumption. Trust me I'll never got close to Toyota.
