Massively powerful and quick 5.7. The 381 hp engine plus a 4,30 ring to pinion ratio with a 6 speed.

Rough but stable TRD package.

I purchase new every year. I've owned the top of the line Ford, Chevy, Dodge. Ive owned the Nissan's, GMC and many others. The Toyota is without a doubt the most impressive full size truck on the planet! It will embarrass any domestic mass produced truck in the world. Just compare similary equiped vehicles and see for yourself. It would be foolish not to consider this truck if your on the market. I pulled an 8000 lbs trailer to Illinois this fall and averaged 16.4 miles per gallon on that flat land. My overall MPG has been around 15 but I have a tendancy to move out pretty good. The only true gripe is that you have to get the oil changed at a shop equiped to remove the oil filter which is up inside the engine. It's also hard to find 0w - 20 oil locally. The standard traction control and stability control makes for stable driving on snowy roads. If you decide you want to be foolish you can push the stability control switch in for a few seconds until you disable it. Be warned, I tried it and absolutely destroyed the BFG rear tires with one burn out ( no brake applied ). This thing will spin the tires at 40-50mph while your moving along if the traction control is off, I added a K&N filter and exhaust and if claimed HP gains are accurate this thing is making well over 420 hp. The auto six speed is incredible. Just touch the brake going down a hill and it will downshift for you and hold your speed. The brakes are massive and will throw your butt through the windshield if your not strapped in. I will by another.
