I gave serious consideration to the G37 and BMW 3 series but purchased the A4. Even though the G37 has far more hp, I find the A4 much more fun to drive. Handling is great and the turbo works well once it kicks in - it takes a second or so to do so which took a little getting used to.

I prefer the A4's interior and styling over the BMW. The A4 fit and finish is excellent. It's a rock-solid car that gives me secure comfort with 2 children's car seats in the back (adequate room for them too). Exterior styling initially turned me away when I first saw pics online but I became hooked on it once I saw the 09 A4 in person - photos do not do justice for this car or it's paint colors.

I also found the base A4 to be quite well equipped and a better value than the higher-end cars considered. It's my first Audi and first German car and I'm loving it. After considerable research, lot-browsing and test drives I'm quite happy with my 2009 A4.
