Can't see how anyone can write a bad thing about this car. I've had it for 6 months now and put 8000k miles on it. This is a man's car. Quick, responsive, stylish who can ask for more. I considered benz, bmw, acura, and lexus. Glad I pick the Audi. The Lexus I must say has a more cushion tide to it; but still the Audi wins in my book. Overall great car to travel with. This is a road car for sure. I went from VA to Tenn and the 2.0T put all those V8s to shame! And let me say Interstate 81 is unforgiving. You have to have some guns to travel that part of the country!...read morehide

I just bought an 09 A4 premium plus with Audi Interface and sport package. Let me start by saying that I test drove every car in the class (BMW 335, Infiniti G37, Lexus 250/350 etc). Not one of these cars can compare to the overall looks of both the exterior and especially the interior of the car. As far as performance goes, I feel the BMW was the "best performance" engine wise, but the Audi was not far behind. With the BMW costing about $13000 more, it was an easy decision to go with the Audi. Even the BMW dealer told me that if the BMW engine had the interior of the Audi, it would be the best selling car out there. I felt the BMW interior was way inferior. The suspension on the Audi is tight, but thats what you have to expect with the sport package. Get it on a smooth road or open highway, the ride is incredible! I have to say I was impressed with the gas mileage (28 mpg highway) on my very first tank of gas. I drove it up the coast of California and that was the average. Since then, now that the car is "broken in" the mpg are getting even better. (Last tank I was getting 31 mpg on the highway and I have a heavy foot!)...read morehide

I love this car. We just bought it 1 week ago and I have driven around 500 miles already on it.
The customer service was great and treated us very well.

I purchased a new 2009 A4 Premium Plus 2.0T AWD in July 2009. I opted to go for the 2nd tier trim as the Premium was OK but I really liked the additions to the interior that come with the Premium Plus and of course, the Xenon Headlights and daytime "dot" running lamps. Most sites will say it costs about $3,000-4,000 more for these options.
I love the car so far. Interior is beautiful with a number of useful features including voice dialed phone entries (syncs up w/ my iPhone), dual climate control, milage readout (mpg), hands free radio/phone controls, etc.
I started negotiations w/ the dealer at roughly $35,000 sticker price (which matched the SRP I found on a few web sites for the options I chose) and worked my way down to about $30,500. Financed through Audi w/ a pretty good rate, I was satisfied w/ the purchase process.
The keys are cool, with all the data for the car being stored in them (you can simply take your key to an Audi servicer and they can tell if anything is wrong w/ your car by looking at the data on the key).
The handling is great and overall feel on smooth roads is as if you were floating. The new body style turns heads and the "dot" headlamps are really cool. The stock rims are faily plain but look good when they're clean I guess.
The only complaints, if you can call them complaints, are the learning curve on driving w/ a 4-cyl Turbo compared to my last car (6-cyl) and the ride can be rough on a non-perfect freeway surface. The turbo is operated by the exhaust from the vehicle which supplies the turbo "boost" to the engine, which means you have to get the engine going BEFORE the power is there. That means the car can be sluggish from start but then "jump" forward when the turbo kicks in, but with a little time behind the wheel you get used to it. Good acceleration at speed but a little slow for the first few mph's.
I'm still messing w/ the best way to drive and get a smooth ride out of it. If the road is perfectly flat, you're floating on a cloud, but if the freeway has a few bumps in it, you can really feel them sometimes.
Overall I'm VERY happy w/ my purchase and would recommend the Audi A4 to anyone considering a fine automobile who is tired of all the BMWs driving around (I'm in So Cal and there's a BMW in every other garage, though they may be 15 years old...). Give one a test drive and I think you'll REALLY like the look and if you like the feel, then go for it....read morehide

After about 7 months worth of research and countless test drives of everything from BMWs, Infiniti, Mercedes, Lexus,Volkswagen, and even the Hyundai Genesis I decided on the 2009 Audi A4. This car just had everything I was looking for in a luxury vehicle. The turbo 2.0 produces excellent torque and accelleration, more than I need for day to day driving. Gas mileage is great, and the interior is top notch in style and materials. I opted for the premium plus package giving me all the bells and whistles along with those mean looking LED running lights. There is barely a hint of road noise at freeway speeds and the suspension has that typical German feel. Plus, I love that the rear seats fold down, very convenient for those larger items like snow boards, strollers, etc.
Don't get me wrong there were lots of good things about the other cars I was looking at too, but the Audi just had more of what I wanted in terms of convenince, looks, performance, and value....read morehide

I have a 2002 Passat 2.0T and The 2007 A4 with the S-Line Trim. I have had more problems with the A4 in the past 2 years than the VW has had over the Last 7yrs. A/C, noisey brakes, the unbalance wear on all 4 tires, had the engine taken apart because a defect on the oil rings when the car was brand new. I paid $400 a month for a total of 2 1/2 months for a rental while my car was in the shop! $400 for an Altima!!!!...read morehide
