If you want more comfort and a better daily driver than a Ferrari or Lamborghini at 1/2 to 1/3 the cost the Audi R8 is for you. It isn't as powerful as it's more expensive competitors, but it does have the super car styling to compete effectively. The big plus is the roomy interior, creature comforts and the comfortable ride. You can make this car your daily driver and you won't miss much if anything from you high end German Sedan.What you will get is plenty of looks from other motorists and lots of "thumbs up". The car is rare enough that even where high end Italian sports cars are common place, your will get a second look. The current 420BHP V8 isn't quite up to the others in power, but it has more than enough for most drivers. The new $50,000 more expensive V10 should narrow the gap, but I'm not sure it will be worth the extra money. Overall the R8 is a good value for a super car.
