I previously owned a Maserati F-1 Coupe Corsa, (The old body style) and was high on the list to get a new one. But, I had a chance to drive a friend's R-8. I liked it so I passed 0n the Maserati. It is very fast the tiptronic is comprable to the F-1. It is impracticle to drive a Ferrari a lot so I got the Maserati. The R-8 was much cooler. I have had no problems with it and have put nearly 10K miles on it. Although it has only seen sunny days. If you want a car in this category at least look at this. I have owned almost everything and driven what I haven't owned. For the price, the styling and the 4wd this is the one.
