Great fuel economy, the body (exterior) couldn't be better, has great lines. However, I think the standard wheels are a blemish to the car's image. The short nose on the car makes going in-and-out of driveways a breeze. The performance of the car's In-line V-6 engine is great, I only wish it were smoother and quieter when idling. As far as handling, the car handles great! As others have mentioned, the Run Flat tires are noisy, and give a ride that is far less than what you would expect from a luxury vehicle. I upgraded my stereo, and it was well worth it!!! BMW service centers has repeatedly provided outstanding customer service, which makes business with them even more the better!...read morehide

I have two 335i's: a sedan and a convertible. I bought the convertible for my wife, and fell in love again. The 335i was like the metal soulmate I'd never known. I traded my 325i with its unfathomably bad automatic transmission and obnoxiously sticky brakes, and got a slice of pure heaven. Others have complained about repair issues. I've heard about them, but after two cars and six months, I've yet to experience any. The twin turbo is a new engine, however, and bound to have a few bugs for the first year or two. If that concerns you, I'd advise either buying a new 2009 off the lot, or waiting another year and letting someone else pay for the depreciation. I've owned several BMWs, and driven many, many more. The 335i in all its forms (coupe, convertible, and sedan) is the best balance of performance for $$$. I dare you to drive one and not smile....read morehide

This car is a beast! I have a late 2008, 335XI cvoupe, fully loaded w/Sports package, Auto, Titanium with 4500 miles on it so far. It has been a joy to drive. Although, I must say that BMW needs to replace the RFT tires to the one's with less noise and comfort.

I've had this car for only 2 weeks but absolutely love it!! Has 11,000 and 0 problems so far. Knock on wood. With the radio off i can sometimes here the drivers side seat creak a little that the only minor problem. Other than that its a blast to drive! Amazing handling I had an srt-4 before with lowering spring and sway bars and strut bars and I thought that handled well but it doesn't touche the 335i!! The power is crazy as well. My srt has a lot of performance mods running low 13's. But this car stock feels so much stronger. In any gear you have loads of power. Its just a very strong engine. Everything is very precise and perfect. I recommend at least driving this car and seeing what it can do before considering anything else. The interior of the car is nice but no comparison to lexus. The materials fit very nicely, looks better with navigation. Cup holders are very chinsey and break often from what i've heard. But the German are not known for cup holders in any of there car. Not a top priority, as well it shouldn't be. The seats are firm, but very comfortable!!! The standard Logic 7 system sounds extremely crisp and clean, pushing 300 watts with 13 speakers. The bass is strong but could hit a little bit harder on the lows. 1-10 I would rate this system a 7.5. Don't get me wrong it is a nice system, Full blast it will make your ears bleed without a bit of distortion. Just wish It hit as well as the other cars in its class. Overall I love this car and have no regrets, Definitely go out and drive one!!...read morehide

Just test drove this car, the car had plenty of pep and speed but lacked the luxury fit and feel that one would expect for a BMW especially in the 40 thousand range. The road noise was worse than my last 4 pick up trucks, and not even in the same range as my 2007 Camry. I wouldn't recommend this car for any one wanting sport and extreme comfort....read morehide

This is a great car! I am actually leasing the car. It is a 2008 red two door 328I. This car is absolutely beautiful! It handles well and has great performance! I have never driven the 335I and have heard that it performs better than the 328I. The 328I is enough for me because you can always stick it in drive sport if you want to get up and go.
The only thing that bothers me and is irritating is that the low tire light always seems to come on once the temperature changes. Other than that I would recommend this car to anybody!...read morehide

bought this car in jan 09.. drive it only on weekends.. by the end of march the car is already giving me problems.. it started sputtering, feels like it was losing power.. so i brought it to the dealer ship to get it check and they tell me its computer problems and reprogrammed it.. went to pick up today and before i even drove off the lot i could tell that my car isnt driving the same.. it actually felt worst.. first i thought it was just me.. thought maybe i was use to the loaner car they have loan to me which was a 328i.. doesnt have the power like the 335i.. but my bf drives my 335i more than me so i knew he would have been able to tell the difference and indeed he did.. how could a 3 month old car with less than 2000 be such trouble.. alot of people tell me not to buy bmw because of all the problem they have but i gave them the benefit of the doubt.. and it now i believe them.. i'm so disappointed.. giving them another call tomorrow.. and hopefully this issue sould be resolved!!...read morehide

The way this car performs does not leave anything to be desired; I only wish that maintenance was not a concern. Maybe the Germans should let the Japanese start building the car :-)
The car gets a lot of attention and positive comments from young to old. It has been suggested from previous BMW 3 series, not to keep the car beyond the warranty. I love the growl of the engine, handling, acceleration and appearnce of the this. Parting with it will be very difficult when the warranty expires....read morehide

This is my third 3 series and by far the best ever. From the handling to braking to the way the seats encompass your body the car is a joy to drive.

This is truly the "ultimate driving machine". I have driven this 2008 coupe with sport package rocket for over 8K miles. From the flat roads in NC to the challenging Nurburgring race track in Germany, this is by far the best overall performance car for road and track. If you do not believe me, drive this machine for a few thousand miles and then road test a 08 G37 Infinity or even a 08 Porsche Cayman S and you will see what I am talking about. I bought this vehicle in Germany and drove over 5K miles on twisty roads where the car really excels and becomes part of you. The torque of this machine at only 4K RPM is just amazing. It feels like a perfect V8 engine that gives you infinite power on demand. There is no turbo lag you can notice. This is a great car that l would never trade in for a Infinity, Acura, Cadillac or even a Porsche....read morehide
