I've had this car for 5 mths now and am happy every time I drive it. I have the Sports package and Nav/rear camera package and both are necessities. The Sports suspension makes this car even more of a BMW -- it drives around curves like my wife's 528i. The rear camera comes in handy, especially if you don't have experience with larger vehicles. The camera has saved me several times already (once when someone ran in back of my car while I was backiing out of a tight parking space).

The best thing about this car is the engine -- the diesel produces wonderful torque, which means quick acceleration..and you don't have that nasty turbo lag you may find in other turbo-charged engines. It felt great being able to pass big rigs going uphill on the way to the mountains. Last thing -- the great gas mileage. Over the last 5 mths, with about a 70/30 ratio of highway/city, I've averaged 24.7 miles to the gallon. On long highway cruises, like up to Tahoe, I've gotten 28-29 miles per gallon!
