There is simply no better-performing car at the $50,000 price point. Transmission is a bit notchier than most Japanese supercars, and the interior is several grades inferior to a Porsche/Audi/BMW. But it performs better than all but the Z06 and the $100K-plus level sports cars from the Germans and Japanese, the driving position is all sports car, the accleration and handling is tough to match, and no other drivers mistake the power you're packing....read morehide

owning a vette is a life style. If you do own one you understand. This is the best sports car EVER made. All Vettes are beautiful but the C-6 has all the kinks worked out. Guaranteed, get behind the wheel and experience the thumbs-up and smiles from everyone you drive pass. Then, look in the mirror and check out the big smile on your own face. ok so lets start with the pros. i love the power of the engine: above 600 HP!!!! the cons are that it eats a lot, but still less than my nissan pathfinder that i had before.

Owned a 2004 C5 and loved the car, wished I never sold it. Had great luck with the C5 mechanically and wanted another Corvette. Recently started looking for a C6 and local dealer was offering some great year end buys on Corvettes so could not resist.

The car is everything you could ask for at this price. Best sports car made in America, I am not a huge fan of General Motors but I am telling you they make a great Vette.

Every red blooded American male owes himself sometime in his life a Corvette. If you dont buy the new C6 for Gods sake go out and find a great used C5 or C6 and enjoy the vehicle especially like I do on nice evenings and weekends. This car is not my primary vehicle and sits in the garage a lot of the time so makes it especially fun when I take it out for pleasure driving....read morehide

Wondeful car wished I would not have waited so long to get one. I love the yellow color can see it a mile away. This is the only American car I would even consider.

I feel this car has everything I could ever want in a sports car, from the interior, ride and exterior. Chevrolet should be proud of themselves for putting out such a guality car for the price.

Give me the Corvette and the money anytime before I would spend more for any import....read morehide

this is the most fun car I have ever owned! With over 12k miles in 8 mos. we have toured most of the western states with zero trouble. Just a terrific car to tour in!

None that I can think of...

I am 5'8", 220 lbs. and am quite comfortable while driving...the manual 6 speed gets decent and even rather good gas mileage; but it is a Corvette, not a Prius ...the Z-51 suspension and Goodyear run flats give a firm, solid ride...but then I much prefer a stiffer ride with a much better feel of the road than a plush one that feels like the car wallows...it handles like a dream...I am very satisfied with the build quality...I have the LT3 package with the heads-up display...the HUD should be made a standard feature on all cars - no need to take your eyes off the road to check speed, etc...the optional NPP exhaust has a very satisfying tone and looks good - it also adds 6 bhp to the base 430...I am looking into getting a cold air intake system to add a few more but just as it sits right now I must make absolutely sure the road ahead is wide open if I punch it (I will never forget the first time I used the Floral Ave. - 99 onramp in Selma - it was truly worth the price of admission)...I feel lucky to be able to own my Corvette...as one car magazine put it - driving a Corvette is fuel for the soul......read morehide

I waited 45 years to get my 'Vette and it was worth every second of the wait...it is an '09 coupe...manual...Z-51 with optional exhaust...if you are thinking about getting one stop thinking and do it...

I could not be happier with this car. The Z06 tells the world that the USA can still build great cars for a reasonable price! This is the BEST performance value available!!
