We now have 29,889 km on the car. We purchased our 2007 HHR in MN and since living in Mexico. The car has excelled in performance, fuel mileage and all around comfort. On the trip we were getting 36 miles per gallon. Great car that Chevie has seemed to keep a secret. So far so good, Averaging almost 30mpg with just over 2k on the odometer. Long list of standard options for a base model. No major gripes on anything. Cup holder is kind of awkward with the 5 speed, the armrest seems to be a little on the short side too. Overall it is a great commuter!

MPG are NOT as advertised by Chevrolet......in town.

Purchased my HHR LS March 21st....so far, in town driving and the MPG is not as expected.....maybe when it' broken in the MPG will improve.

Great gas mileage. Love the room and the ride is awesome! Very good handling.

The only thing I don't care for is where the buttons are for the windows.

I got the vehicle after a lot of research. My daughter and Grand daughter have moved back in with me and I really needed the extra room and wanted something safe. The crash results showed safety. It is really easy to get the car seat in and out when needed. Of course the looks helped also. After driving her I was sold. Love the way she handles. I have no problems with seeing but being 5 foot tall I don't have the visability problems that someone taller might have....read morehide

Great stereo more than compensates for the road noise.
Small 'blind-spot' mirrors help with blind spot problem.

Good looks, handles well, good front and rear room, and great cargo room. I am a hobbyist woodworker and can carry 8 ft lumber with the passenger seat down. No hot rod but 25+ mpg in city driving. The sound of the Pioneer speakers is excellent. The Cardinal Red Metallic paint, 17" chrome rims and 50 series tires makes it look like an old custom wagon....read morehide

the hhr ss is a very good value, it gives you plenty of cargo area,gets great mpg (29 highway 25 city)& that's with a turbo charged 2.0 4 cyl.
that is exciting & fun to drive. the hhr has all the safety features,anti-
lock brakes,stabilitrac, 8 airbags etc. also a very nice sound system 7 speakers with power booster, bluetooth, xm & onstar.the 21st century muscle car that's for all ages. i'm 62 & feel that i have made a very wise purchase. i highly recommend that you drive this vehicle before you make your decision on any other car....read morehide

I purchased a2007 HHR new LT1 with LT2 option pkge standard shift Five speed is very fun to drive can haul a pretty good sized payload too. I love this car and will purchase another one soon.

We have been extremly happy with this car. The economy, front room, back seat room and rear storage are great. It is very easy to park and drive. We get around 32 mpg on highway (60 mph) and 27.5 combined. The front door colums is think and can be a little hard to see from the side positions. WE had some special pin-stripping installed and it really makes teh car look sporty. My wife really likes this car!...read morehide

I love its style both inside and out. Reminds me of the old gangster cars. Great gas milage.

For the money its the best car or small van on the road today. I have owned my HHR for almost three years now without any problems. Nice ride with great style. I get about 33 miles to the gallon and with today gas prices that's a good thing.
