I would recomend the Tahoe to anyone. Excellent power delivery and fuel economy. I have owned many vehicles over the years and by far the tahoe has the best ride and comfort.

Definitely the best vehicle I have owned, upgrade from a 2000 Grand Cherokee and found the Tahoe to be far superior. I have had no issues with it at all. Fuel economy could be better but what do you expect from a Full Size SUV. I get around 17mpg on my daily commute but on long highway distances (Dallas to Atlanta - 800 miles) I averaged 24 mpg....read morehide

I have 15,000 on this and overall it is a good vehicle. Very comfortable to drive. I won't complain about the mileage because with something like this you don't buy it for the mileage but for its capability to do the work you need done. The heater takes forever to warm up, and is inadequate to heat the huge interior to a comfortable level until it has been driven for a half hour or more. I live in mild climate, so can only imagine how bad it would be in a cold climate....read morehide

This car has a nice sleek shape (in black.) and leather/navigational. It drives good but I wish Chevrolet could make one that gets better gas milage. (3.7 engine V6 maybe? ) But then I guess there wouldent be enough power... But it's nice.

Pros

Same economy as my 2001 Tahoe !. I have the Z71 model and it performs great in off-road situations.

At 7000 miles the fuel pump went bad. Lucky the Tahoe was in the garage !.

Great vehicle. For towing and all around performance you can't beat it for the work and drive it was intended for. I am a little concerned about the fuel pump-new model of pump-but no worries with the long warranty.

Next time you read about this vehicle being a "gas guzzler" just remember about some things like-snow. Its been snowing all week here and let me tell you my Tahoes 4 wheel drive cut through the snow like a knife through butter while many of the "fuel efficient" vehicles I passed were stuck, sliding, or in accidents. You cant beat this Tahoe for comfort and safety! Ive had the 2008 since April and its the best of all the six new vehicles Ive owned since 1995, foreign and domestic. If your live in an area with bad weather and you care about the safety of yourself and your family youll get the Tahoe and willingly pay a few extra dollars for fuel....read morehide

Today we picked up on 2009 LTZ. Loaded - GPS is awesome, kid's watched a DVD and they enjoyed that. It warned us of 2 wreaks and got them both right and saved us big time. Rides smooth too. GM has some great offers now and it's the best SUV on the market.

Traded a new Mercedes Benz with only 15K for Tahoe; love the Tahoe more! The Tahoe is comfortable, handles better than I ever would have guessed, offers an excellent view of the road, and I love the safety features. And for it's size very nice styling too! I do not miss the other car at all; never looked back after the trade was done. Going to buy a Chevy ball cap too to match. I am sold on the Tahoe and may likely buy another in the future....read morehide

Fuel Economy among the lowest

I love this truck, it's the second one I have owned. If any one is thinking about getting the cadillac ecalade or denali, save the cash you'll spend and go with the tahoe. I have all leahter, 4wd, heated seats, all power, etc. for about 12 G's less than the name brands.
